Travelers

Mulder sticks his foot in Arthur Dales' door to keep him from slamming the door in his face despite the fact that he's not there on official business and has no grounds on which to force his way in.

Mulder:  Edward Skur died saying a name-my name.  My father's name.

Dales:  Go ask your father.

Mulder:  My father and I don't really speak.

Dales:  I told you I can't help you.  [shuts door]

Mulder:  [through the door] Mr. Dales, I want the truth, and I will subpoena you to get it, if I have to.

Most of this episode takes place in the past years before Mulder was born so there's not a lot of him in the episode.  But he still manages to act like a punk in the few scenes that he appears.

General Punkesque Behavior

Pushy, pushy!  Shoving his foot in the door to keep Arthur Dales from closing the door in his face.  Especially since he had no grounds on which to even think about forcing his way in.

Smoking:  Nasty Habit.  'Nuf said.

Unprofessional Behavior

Mulder spent an awful lot of time at Arthur Dale's apartment.  Didn't he have work to do at headquarters?  How does he get away with that?
