Mulder: So you're suggesting that Diana is monitoring these abductees? Monitoring these tests? Scully: You tell me that Cassandra Spender is the critical test subject --the one who could prove everything. And yet, who is watching over her? Mulder, I can prove what you're saying or I can disprove it but not when Diana Fowley is keeping us from even seeing her. Mulder, ask yourself why there is no information whatsoever on Special Agent Diana Fowley. Why she would suddenly happen into your life when you are closer than ever to the truth. I mean, you... you ask me to trust no one and yet you trust her on simple faith. Mulder : Because you've given me no reason here to do otherwise. |
You see what a Punk ass Mulder is? For all the lip service he pays to wanting to find the truth he's rather adept at ignoring it when it doesn't suit him. Someone please slap him!
Taking too long to pull the trigger when he was pointing the gun at Cassandra: How long did he think it would take for whoever was on the other side of his apartment door to break down the ratty thing while he stood there impotently pointing his gun pondering his situation.
Peeking at Scully in the shower: Next time he wants to see Scully naked I would suggest that he do it the old fashioned way with dinner, a movie, and drinks (but not too many) followed by nakedness and sex.
Trying to call Scully off of Fowley while Scully was questioning Fowley's motives. Scully was right to be suspicious and had every right to demand answers. Mulder should have been doing the same.
Here's Mulder wandering around Fort Marlene with clothes that are too small (an occurrence which I don't believe to be accidental) and no one but Fowley has said one word to him. Why the hell did he expect the woman to help him address his too-small shoe problem?
Exactly how does Mulder breathe with his head stuck so far up his ass? What a Punk! Scully and The Lone Gunmen put evidence together of Fowley's untrustworthiness and Mulder accuses Scully of making it personal. Assuming that Mulder is right about that (and he's not) how does he explain why The Lone Gunmen seem to be on Scully's side? In addition, Mulder has a hell of a lot of nerve even accusing Scully of making it personal. What the hell has he been doing for all these years Mr. "This is my life such as it is?" He's only interested in it because of his very personal interest in finding his sister.
While I'm on the subject of Mulder's trust of that bitch Fowley, why the hell does he trust her after her absence but he makes Scully, who's been with him for five years jump through hoops to gain his trust? What happened to only trusting Scully? Did that go out the door because Agent Fowley thrust herself into the scene? Or perhaps Mulder is thinking with the wrong part of his anatomy?
Why the hell did he conclude that he found no proof that Fowley had betrayed him? Wasn't the fact that the Cigarette-Smoking Man had entered the apartment evidence of something amiss? Why the hell did he take the Cigarette-Smoking Man's word that he was looking for Baby Spender? Since when does the Cigarette-Smoking Man speak the truth? The Cigarette-Smoking Man was probably going over to pick Fowley up to take her to El Rico when he was surprised by Mulder's presence.
Give up? What the hell does he mean he's going to give up? Did the lives of all the people who would die had he done nothing mean nothing?
Letting TBFB kiss him: Ewwwww! There isn't enough pine-sol or bleach to disinfect those lips to make them clean enough to ever touch Scully's!
Our last chance to stop them? Are we using the royal "we" when we say this Mulder because Fowley is aligned with them and Scully is not there.
Breaking and Entering: I guess for all his talk he did actually take some of Scully's words into consideration. God forbid he might actually let Scully know that something she told him may have sunk in. On the other hand since Mulder found nothing but the Cigarette-Smoking Man I guess it's just as well he didn't tell Scully.
