Mulder: You saw that news report. What did you
make of that?
Scully: I think that the obvious assumption is that the
woman was shot, regardless of what the police say. Maybe it
was a sniper.
Mulder: In the words of their captain "she just
sort of popped." And what about this guy who
supposedly tried to take her hostage, her husband? Looked
to me like he was trying to warn the cops before she died.
Now, the sun will rise in America tomorrow regardless of
whether or not we're at yet another farm investigating yet
another enormous pile of doo-doo. We can be in and out in a
day. Nobody has to know.

Gee doesn't this sound familiar? I'll have you
back in time for the meeting Scully? Yeah right. No
quick trip anywhere ever is with Mulder around.
General Punkesque Behavior
What the hell is Mulder doing with those sunglasses? He
looks ridiculous. Who does he think he is Joe Cool?
Volunteering to offer his help to the Nevada police.
He's supposed to be checking on, to use his
words, big piles of doo-doo.
In and out huh? Could that be anything like that quick
trip to Dallas? When will Mulder stop making promises of
quick trips he can't keep?
What exactly was Mulder going to do in the ambulance besides
get in the way? Question the man while paramedics work on
him? Mulder's been there and done that (except the man
in question hadn't been brought over to the ambulance) What
an insensitive clod!
It's not a good idea to tell a man pointing a gun at you
that he did something stupid even if it's true.
Gotta pee? File that one under more information than I
need to know.
Unprofessional Behavior
I know that Kersh is a bleephead but it's not wise to
mouth off at the blankhole.
Criminal Activity
Tailgating: What part of "Keep Back" did he
not understand?
Auto theft: That's pretty much self-explanatory.
Uh what happened to Mulder's seatbelt? Everyone
should buckle up for safety. Besides, it's the law.
I'm not sure about where Mulder was driving but in New
York he certainly would have gotten a summons.
