Mulder: The point is is that a computer program has shown us that these are not just random, happenstance coincidental occurrences and that same program has predicted that in just 48 hours even more complex formations are going to be laid down in a field near Avebury-- 48 hours, Scully-- but I wouldn't mind getting there earlier if you don't mind. Scully: Getting where? Mulder: England-- I got two tickets on a 5:30 flight. Scully: Mulder, I still have to go over to the hospital and-and-and finish the final paperwork on the autopsy you had me do. And, to be honest, it's Saturday and I wouldn't mind, I don't know, taking a bath? Mulder: Well, what the hell does that mean? |
What the hell did that mean? Does it ever occur to Mulder that Scully just may have things to do on a weekend night than chase after UFO's on a case that's not even FBI related? Just because Mulder doesn't seem to be interested in trying to have a life doesn't mean that no one else is.
Talking with his mouth full: Considering that he tends to mumble in the first place, talking with his mouth full only makes it worse. Besides which, talking with one's mouth full generally leads to one possibly exposing the partially chewed contents to the person to whom one is speaking for which I can only say: Eww!
Five-thirty that day? Did Mulder really think that it was appropriate to make overseas travel plans for Scully on a non-FBI related excursion on so little notice? Punk ass thy name is Mulder!
Speaking of the five-thirty flight to England that Mulder scheduled for Scully, considering that it was non-FBI related travel it would have behooved him to consult with Scully about her plans before booking the trip. That Punk ass didn't even bother to ask if she wanted to go in the first place. Nerve!
What the hell did Mulder mean when he asked Scully "what the hell does that mean" in his response to Scully's desire to take a bath? Did it not occur to him that Scully had plans to relax? Oh that's right he didn't otherwise he wouldn't have reserved a ticket for Scully on the assumption that she'd drop everything to fly off to England.
