Brand X

In an amusing but childish display of pique Mulder uses the tabbaco executive's annoying tactics to sidestep a question.

Mulder:  Dr. Voss... can you tell me what that is?

[He tosses the bag to Voss.  Inside is the dead beetle from Jim Scobie's glass.]

Dr. Voss:  It's a tobacco beetle.  Why?

Mulder:  We found it at Jim Scobie's house.

Dr. Voss:  Well, you'll find a lot of these around here.  They're everywhere.  There's probably a dozen in the grill of your car right now.

Lead Counsel:  May I ask where you're going with this, Agent?

Mulder:  [sarcastically] I'm sorry, I can't.  Answering that question would violate FBI confidentiality due to the sensitive nature of our investigation.

That was rather childish.  Funny as hell considering the non-cooperation the tobacco executives but still childish.

General Punkesque Behavior

A rather childish albeit amusing moment:  Having not gotten anything approaching a cooperative answer from the Morely employees, Mulder replies when asked a question "I'm sorry, I can't.  Answering that question would violate FBI confidentiality due to the sensitive nature of our investigation."

Ewww!  Mulder picked up that bug with his bare hands!

Once again Mulder walks off only giving a vague answer to inquiries as to where he's going.

Mulder made too many bad jokes in this episode.

Mulder really needs to let Scully in on where he goes.  If he had maybe Skinner would have found Daryl Weaver a bit sooner.

Mulder had best to have thrown those cigarettes in the garbage otherwise he would have been in line for a butt whipping.
