How the hell would Mulder know? When's the last time he's been around a woman besides Scully? Puh-shaw!
Maybe I'm just dirty-minded (and that's a big maybe) but that snake crack sounded like a Monica Lewinski joke. Why would Mulder think that Scully would be remotely interested in hearing about these "snake handling" women from Mulder's past?
Why is it that Scully always has to ask Mulder where he's going before he tells her? If she hadn't inquired he would have ditched her without telling her. As it was he tossed the explanation over his shoulder as he was walking away!
Sheesh! Mulder dropped his gun again.
Breaking and Entering: O'Connor made it clear the first time Mulder and Scully stopped by that he didn't care much for their presence. Breaking into the church wouldn't have made things better especially since there was no warrant.
