Harry Bring: This isn't a murder case. Mulder: Well, it might as well be once the facts about Amber Lynn's disappearance get out. Harry Bring: My clients are not murderers and... and I resent any such accusation. Mulder: Yeah. If you really want to help your clients, Mr. Bring, get them a real lawyer. |
That's real helpful Mulder. Maybe if you tell him that he's ugly and his mother dresses him funny you can get him to really open up to you. Sheesh! Tact is definitely not Mulder's forte.
Inserting himself into an investigation where he clearly wasn't invited. At 3am no less.
A real lawyer? What Mulder meant to say is "if you really want to help your clients, Mr. Bring, get them a criminal lawyer." There was no need to be insulting to Mr. Bring.
It's open? Why the hell is Mulder sitting in a dark motel room with the lights out and the door unlocked? Any wacko could have walked in. There's no reason to make it easier for them to do so by leaving the door unlocked.
Blowing off his mother: Granted talking to the woman isn't the easiest thing to do but Mulder did promise to call her when he got back. And she was his mother after all.
Where does Mulder come up with some of the stuff that pops in his head? What makes him think that his mother knew anything about the case he was working on? It makes no sense no matter how much you stretch the truth.
Asking Scully to do the autopsy on his mother. Is he out of his bleepin' mind? How friggin' self-centered is he to even consider asking such a thing. Did he even consider the anguish he would be putting Scully through with such a request? Of course not! What a Punk!
I think Mulder needs to invest in some sturdier furniture. He nearly knocked the computer off the desk while throwing that hissy fit.
Walking away from Skinner after making his request to be taken off the case: Usually when one makes a request of some type it's customary to wait for an answer before walking away.
Not turning in the report when he was supposed to: That's a good way to piss of one's supervisor.
Showing up for the briefing late: After pissing off Skinner once I guess Mulder figured that he since he was already in deep doo-doo he might as well go for broke.
