Mulder: What is it? Scully: "What is it"? Mulder, have you noticed that we're on television? Mulder: I don't think it's live television, Scully. She just said *bleep*. |
Of course that is completely besides the point but then Mulder doesn't seem to care if he looks like a nut on national television. It's not like it'll be the first time he looked crazy in front of an audience.
Mulder must be loving the television cameras because he makes no attempt to keep himself from potentially looking foolish.
You can tell Mulder was irked by what Scully told him about the cameras because he responds nonchalantly to her comment that she didn't want to look foolish. In addition, he responds by asking Scully to escort the deputy to the hospital while he investigates. His tone was not exactly what one would call cordial. At the least, this was a ditch attempt. At the most, it was a dismissal because Scully implied that they may look foolish. Any way you look at it, it was Punk ass behavior.
Why does Mulder insist on using that sketch of the werewolf? He had to know that no one would take him seriously did he learn nothing from the events in "The Jersey Devil?"
Mulder is such a child. You can just tell he enjoyed saying "bleep" while in front of the television camera.
Mulder's calming technique leaves a lot to be desired because it didn't seem to do anything for Edie.
"Stay where you are." That's very funny considering Scully had just locked the camera guys back in the closet. I doubt that they would find it very amusing if they weren't so busy being scared bleepless.
Mulder's pep talks also leave a lot to be desired. "Cowboy up." Oh yeah that's going to work.
