PART III: Getting Heated Up As The First Performances Progress
Third on the ice was Trifun Zavonivick, 1999 Mens National silver medalist. (I think) So I cheered for him because all the men at nationals and at worlds were all very good for the most part. It must have been hard narrowing it down to three champions. He had a very strong and good performance. Basically any skater or skaters I knew I clapped & yelled for loudly everytime! Seeing them in person just seemed to make me appreciate them more than I ever have instead of seeing them on TV, watching their performances, thinking they were pretty good, but I was too crazy about them. I think my feelings for each skater has grown stronger since seeing them in person. The fourth performance was Elizabeth Punsalan and Jerod Swallow. They did their Sonny and Cher medley. A performance I really enjoy. Even at this early stage of the show my hands were already sore from clapping so much. But I didnt care! Fifth on the ice was Naomi Nari Nam! Ever since nationals I have become attached to her! She has so much talent and potential and is so cute! I feel lucky since she is only with the tour for the stops in California and Nevada. I also got to see a new program from her that I hadnt seen before. She was wearing a light purple outfit and skated to "Getting to Know You" from "The King and I". Her performance looked very mature. Very smooth, quick moves, what can I say? Perfect!!! I was screaming a little louder for her is all I can say to sum it up!
