Einstein's General Theory of Relativity
implies the curvature of Space and Time due to gravity and the presence of mass in the universe. This implication allowed Einstein to relate space and time anywhere in the universe, regardless of the presence of any gravitational forces, and from any frame of reference. The theory brought about the idea of the exsistence of Black Holes, which are incredibly dense bodies created from imploded stars. They are cloaked by a horizon at some critical circumference at which nothing inside of it can escape the force of gravity, not even light. Thus appearing "Black". This curvature of Space-time also creates several phenomena near extremely massive bodies, like Black Holes. |
