 6.11.99 im really bad. i haven't updated in a week. umm i gettin lazy. naw, thats not it. this past two weeks have been hectic for me, with finals and yearbook and just school. i swear im about to jump off of a building. expect me to disappear on the 17th of June. sorry y'all, but im going back to my homeland, the Philippines, for my brothers wedding. please don't expect me to update during them, im not really sure if i can hook a laptop up to the net there, lol. well anyway, part of my problem is that im starting to design other pages for other people. ill put more info about that later well, that is all for now. oh and um after i come

| School Violence- Damn! everytime i turn on the News, somebody got shot at school. what is our world coming to? are them nerds gettin back at us for pickin on em? today, people in Georgia got shot at school. the other day, someone in Pacific Palisades, CA got shot. can't them people get a life and stop bringing guns to school? NBA Playoffs- well, home team got swept. 4-0 in round 2. that sucks. well too bad, wait till next year. Filipinos in society- why do so many people refer to filipinos as a whole in such a way that they make it seem that they don't care about it? i hear it everyday, why are filipinas so quiet? why aren't they outspoken? well. i dunno. |

try this easy dish for
Adobo. this is da bombest dish over rice. yum. INGREDIENTS: 1 1/2 lb. chicken or pork or a combination of both, 1/2 cup soy sauce, 8 cloves of garlic (crushed), 1/2 cup vinegar, 2 tbsp. oyster sauce, 1 tbsp. pepper, 1/2 tsp. MSG (optional) INSTRUCTIONS: Mix the meat with the rest of the ingredients in a pot and let it marinate for 20-30 minutes. Cook over a low fire for about 45 minutes, or until the meat is tender, stirring occasionally. Serve with white rice. or try this: Fish or Shrimp Sinigang INGREDIENTS: 1&1/2 lb. shrimp or fish, 5 cups of water, 4 medium tomatoes, sliced, 1 medium onion, sliced, 1&1/2 tsp. salt, 1 medium icicle radish, cut in 1" pieces, 1/4 lb. green beans, 1/2 lb. spinach, 5 medium sized sampaloc (tamarind) or 2 tbsp. lemon juice. INSTRUCTIONS: In a large pot, bring water and meat to a boil. Add tomatoes, onions, salt and tamarind. Simmer covered for 1 hour or until pork is tender. Remove tamarind and mash with some of the broth. Strain juice back into the pot. Taste for seasoning. Bring to a boil. Add green beans and radish. Cook for 10 minutes. Add spinach, cover and remove from heat. Let stand 5 minutes to finish cooking of spinach. yum! want more? email me |
