A bit later.. perhaps the next day, a second bandit boss from one of the neighboring regions takes a visit to the camp Navahl is staying at. He brings his most powerful fighter to challenge Navahl to a battle, which the other leader bandit is quite happy with, knowing that he will get a lot of money from bets when Navahl wins. Navahl makes short work of the over-grown fighter, dodging his attacks with ease and taking him out with one slice. The bandits surrounding the fight circle applaud as he slips his swords back into place. The visiting bandit boss is quite angered, but pays up anyway.

The bandits decide to get "down to business" and the leader snaps his fingers, summoning the priestess girl foreward. She looks angrily at the dead body, feeling remorse for the unnecessary death. The second bandit boss rips away her hood to reveal her stunning red hair and finds her very beautiful. He gladly "buys" her from the leader and Navahl doesn't look too happy about it.. nor does Julian who storms out furious.

Somehow, Julian soon escapes with Lina in tow, and together, they run down a narrow canyon. They continue on until they are stopped by 4 or 5 bandits, who surround them both. Julian draws his sword, sweating heavily as he tries to protect Lina. Navahl steps up to the group and orders quietly, "He's mine.." Navahl draws his swords as well and Julian instantly runs up to try and kill him, but fails miserablely. As Julian goes crazy trying to slice him up, Navahl just stands there, not moving an inch or flinching, looking rather amused at the whole thing.

Without warning, Navahl turns on the bandits, stabbing each one in turn until they have all fallen. Satisified with what he has done, he puts his swords back in their place as always and begins to walk away. Lina breaths a sigh of relief, as Julian stops him and gratefully says, "But why...?" Navahl answers this as he answers almost every question he is asked.. he says nothing at all and walks away casually.
