Crimson Warrior: Part Four

Soon after, Lina is captured again by the bandits and Julian is left for dead. Though very injured, Julian walks down the canyon, hoping to find some help along the way. He happens to run into the young Prince Mars and his loyal Arishan Knights (which is basically what the movies is about, but I skipped over them and the basic plot just to tell you about Navahl) and he begs them to help save Sister Lina. It turns out that Prince Mars and his army were already hired to save Lina as a promise to a town they rescued from pirate rule. Julian takes him to the hide-out where the last battle (in the movie anyway) begins.

Navahl hears the attack warning bells from his room and steps outside his door, ready for a fight. While Julian and the others search for Lina, the visiting bandit boss is forcing her to go with him against her will. Navahl steps in his way and glowers at him: "Going somewhere?" The bandit actually looks happy and offers to hire him as a bodyguard. Navahl, disgusted by the offer and the lure of money, runs after him with his blades and instantly kills him, the money from the bandit's hands spilling on the ground.

Lina is truly upset that Navahl just killed him like that. Then Navahl yells at her (well.. not really yells.. states) that he has committed so many murders that one more didn't make a difference and that he couldn't be reformed even by her God. She then brings up an interesting point: "If your beyond redemption then why save me?" All Navahl says in response is a deep sigh and walks away.. again.

Outside, Oguma, Princess Shieda's bodyguard, (the 2nd coolest character by the way) has his hands full with the bandit boss. Though Oguma didn't intend to lose (for he was an accomplished swordman), he was getting a bit tired as well as the bandit boss. Navahl notices the fight and decides to step in for the bandit leader. Oguma stops and gasps when Navahl pulls out his two swords.. it's the first time we find out how powerful Navahl really is. "I've heard tales of a man who wields two crimson blades and can defeat an entire army..." Oguma says impressed. "Hmmph.." is what Navahl replies.

The battle begins as each warrior charges each other and performs the famous anime "run past the person and stop with your back turned and find out who gets hurt" manuveur. It turns out, they are pretty well matched up. Oguma sliced Navahl arm, causing his to drop one sword and Navahl cut through Oguma's shoulder armor, slicing through his skin. They continue to fight for a while until Mars, Julian, Lina and Princess Sheida run out and see them. Since words could not convince them to stop, Sheida throws herself in front of Oguma, yelling at Navahl to stop.

Sheida: "You're the one called Navahl aren't you? Why are you siding with these evil bandits? Stop all this meaningless fighting."
Navahl: "Get out of the way. This doesn't concern you."
Sheida: "First tell me why you saved Julian and Sister Lina..."
The bandit boss wasn't too happy to hear this news, not realizing that Navahl was the one that helped them escape.
Navahl: "Because I felt like it!"
Sheida: "You're lying!"
Navahl sighed and continued.. "You call this fighting meaningless. Are you saying that any kind of fighting can be meaningful?"
Sheida: "Yes.. it can - if your cause is truly a just one.."
Navahl: "Interesting.. I'd like to see what makes it so meaningful to you..."

The bandit takes this opportunity to charge Navahl, screaming at him that he was a traitor. Navahl swings around and guts him, stating that he's "changed his mind.. again" and decides to join up with Prince Mars and his army to free the country from the evil demon, Medious', rule (which is basically what the main plot is). THE END
