For full membership status we need:

1. A biography of yourself.

2. A picture ID (such as driver's license, employee ID, military ID.  As long as it isn't the type received from a check cashing business. ( You may cover up the ID numbers if you wish).

3. An ID of another type, such as a library card, voter's  registration card, membership card to a club or organization hunting or fishing license, etc.

These requirements ARE MANDATORY and will not be negotiated over.

The reasoning is simple...to avoid infiltration of hostile outside organizations such as the Neo-Nazis and such. Infiltration is likely to occur at a local level and we will not compromise the security of the organization to those who would bring it down from inside and possible jeopardize the safety & wellbeing of membership. All leadership from Local up are required to send photograph to National Recruiting Officer.

Also a FTF or phone call is required in the recruiting/membership process. FTF and/or several phone calls with recruiting officer and national security officer are always required for leadership level positions. We just don't willy-nilly appoint leaders.

Equipment standardization lists are being worked on and will be sent to Members Only!

They are not to be sent out to others without express permission of recruiting officer and/or national level leader.

DON'T TAKE SOMEONE'S WORD THAT THEY ARE WPSN. THE ONLY PEOPLE WHO KNOW FOR CERTAIN WHO THE MEMBERS ARE WILL BE THE NATIONAL RECRUITING OFFICER, THE COMMANDING OFFICER, THE EXECUTIVE OFFICER AND THE NATIONAL SECURITY OFFICER.

They will also be the only ones with the exact membership count. If neither of these individuals have okayed that these individuals should received equipment lists, comm. freqs. etc., chances are there is good reason.

DON'T RELEASE OR VOLUNTEER ANY INFORMATION WITHOUT FIRST CHECKING WITH THEM.

For Network Status we need:

1. A biography is the only thing required for network status.

This information is required in order to get to know you better and for our "security" records. Also in order to prove you are who you say you are, as well as to provide security from infiltration from those groups and/or individuals who would attempt to destroy WPSN credibility. All records will be held by the recruiting officer in a secure location. The RO will have the only access to these records. The only people who will have the right to request records will be:

1) WPSN Commanding Officer.

2) WPSN Executive Officer.

3) WPSN National Security Officer.

Request for records must come for 2 or more of those listed above before they are released. The only reason such a request would be made is if there is a security issue involved.

Sensitive information such as Rally Points, Comm. Freqs., Codes, etc.

Will  be issued with a security/background check and only on a "Need to Know Basis".

Definition of FULL MEMBERSHIP STATUS and NETWORK STATUS:

---NETWORK STATUS:---

Network status allows for networking for exchange of information and   emergency support response. Members of the Network level will be allowed access to open mailing lists, open discussion forums, open  chats, training suggestions, survival tips and possible "mutual support agreements" if desired.

---FULL WPSN MEMBERSHIP STATUS---

Full membership status in WPSN means that members share in vital   information such as Rally Points, Telephone /Pager trees, Radio  Freqs., standardized equipment lists, closed mailing lists/discussion  forums/chats, etc. All recruits /members must go through a basic security/background check before being given full membership status.
