~BARRET WALLACE~ SELPHIE: This page contains info on Barret from FF7! RINOA: If you haven't finished the game and you don't want any spoilers, then don't continue reading this. This page contains A LOT of spoilers.  

NAME: Barret Wallace  AGE: 35  WEAPON: Gunarm  HEIGHT: 6'4"  B-DAY: December 15th  BIRTHPLACE: Corel Village  BLOODTYPE: O  DESCRIPTION: The only times Barret highlights the game is during Disc 1. In the beginning of the game, Barret is the leader of AVALANCHE. The overall description of Barret is a tough-acting guy that cusses a lot ^^;;

BARRET'S PAST... SELPHIE: Barret probably grew up in Corel almost all his life. Corel Village happened to be a coal-mining town. 4 years ago (from the present time, that is), Shinra arrived at Corel and convinced the people to switch to mako rather than using coal for the rest of their lives. Barret actually agreed with this, but his best friend Dyne kept resenting this. But anyway, Shinra Inc. set up a mako reactor at Corel. Unfortunately, one day while Barret & Dyne were away from town the reactor exploded. Shinra blamed the people for this, and started attacking the townspeople. Now, I'm not sure what started the fire; Shinra or the reactor ^^: NeWayz, Barret & Dyne return to town in time to see it burst in flames. Scarlet & some Shinra soldiers find them and try shooting them. They tried to run, but Dyne falls off a cliff, but Barret grabs a hold of his arm (his left arm. Think about it...). The Shinra soldiers, shoot Barret's arm, and in pain, he lets go of Dyne (I think Dyne's arm got hit, too). Dyne falls down to a fatal (?) death. Barret runs off into the burning town, seeing if there are any survivors. His wife was dead, along with everyone else except for Marlene, Dyne's baby girl. Barret saves her and runs from Corel, probably headed to Midgar in seek of revenge. Oh yeah, Barret gets a gunarm implated into his right arm because of the damage the gunshot did to his arm. Sometime in Disc 1, you learn that Dyne IS alive and got a gunarm implated into his left arm. You have to fight him one-on-one with Barret. If you defeat Dyne, he falls off a cliff (on purpose ^^:;;), oh yeah, and he tosses some necklace that belongs to his wife Eleanor to give to Marlene. MORE ABOUT BARRET IN THE GAME... RINOA: Barret's weapon throughout the game is his gunarm, of course. Read below to see the types of gunarms you can get for him.

* Materia attached gains more AP. BARRET'S ULTIMATE WEAPON... SELPHIE: To get Barret's Ultimate weapon, Missing Score, you have to have Barret on your team. Then, during the raid of Midgar, while climbing the stairs to Hojo you'll come across a treasure chest. I think you only could open it while Barret is on your team. In it is the Missign Score! ^_^ BARRET'S MANUAL LIMIT BREAK... RINOA: Getting Barret's manual limit break is easy. During Disc 2, you have to try to stop the train from running into Corel Village. Whether the train stops or what, after that you go to one of the buildings/tents. I think the one you have to go to is on the left side of the screen on the high level (you have to climb on a ladder-thing to get to it). Um, you talk to a lady in a hat who keeps talking about her husband or something.
