~THE TURKS~ SELPHIE: Okay, okay... there really isn't much info about the Turks... RINOA: But we're making this page anyway. And this page contains spoilers, so leave if you don't want to get spoiled.  

NAMES: Elena, Tseng, Reno, & Rude  AGES: Can range from maybe 17-40  WEAPONS: Electro-Magno rod (Reno).   DESCRIPTION: Tseng, Reno, Rude, & Elena are Turks; a small group linked to Shinra Inc. The Turks' job is to get rid of Cloud & his party, and to get rid of Sephiroth (so far.). Otherwise, they just collect materia and kill and kidnap lotsa people.

ABOUT THE TURKS... SELPHIE: I don't know if there are more Turks, but Elena, Reno, Tseng, & Rude are the known one's. During the game, they have the job of getting rid of lots of people, including Cloud & his party plus Sephiroth. In the beginning they're trying to kidnap Aeris, and they also tried to collect all the huge materia for themselves and such. Of course, their boss is Rufus, who's the boss of anyone working with Shinra. But of all the Turks, Tseng is the leader. Elena is their newest recruit. Even if the Turks do lots of evil things, they don't really seem serious with their work most of the time ^^; Most of the time, you see them gossiping about who they like or they're somewhere drinking. I think Elena & Tseng are the more-serious one's ^^; And according to what they were saying during Disc 1 in the Gongana forest, Rude likes Tifa, Tseng likes Aeris, Elena likes Tseng, and Reno likes.... er, no one @_@ Sadly, Tseng dies because Suckyroth kills 'im at the end of Disc 1 ^_^;; MORE ABOUT THE TURKS IN THE GAME... RINOA: Below is the information and stats of the Turks when you have to battle them throughout the game, and where you'll see 'em: 1) You see Reno for the first time in the chapel when you first meet Aeris. No big battle here. 2) At the pillar, you battle with Reno for the first time. Below are his stats: BOSS: Reno (Lv: 17  HP: 1000  MP: 0) This is a pretty tough battle. First of all, Reno can imprison you and your allies in this pyramid thing. Luckily, you can break it with any attack, and you won't inflict any damage. If all your allies get trapped, the game is over. He also uses his spark bolt attack with his electro-magno rod thing; it can paralyze you and also inflict some damage. To beat him, just use limit breaks and ice materia as much as possible. You get an Ether if you win ^_^ 3) Once out of Midgar, you go to the Myrthill Mines. Here, you also see Reno, Rude, & Tseng. You'll also meet Elena for the first time. There's no battle here. 4) In Junon, when Cloud is disguised, in a weaponshop basement you'll see Rude and in a bar you'll see the other Turks. Luckily, they don't recognize you in the uniform, so there's no battle. 5) In Gongana, before entering town, you'll see Rude & Reno talkin' about who they like and junk ^^;; After that, er, conversation, you get a battle w/ 'em! Below are their stats plus some help. Oh yeah, and you see Tseng w/ Scarlet later. BOSS: Reno (Lv: 22  HP: 2000  MP: 80)             Rude (Lv: 23  HP: 2000 MP: 135) Using summon spells or strong magic spells is what you should do. Then start attacking a certain person. You can attack Rude, because he's the one who heals both him & Reno. You can also attack Reno, because Reno inflicts more damage. Either way, once you hit one with enough damage, that person will leave, followed by the other. It isn't much of a fight anyway. If you do defeat them, you get "Fairy Tale" (Aeris' weapon) and an X-Potion. 6) You see Tseng get the Keystone from Cait Sith in the Gold Saucer ^_^; 7) If you do Yuffie's subquest, you see Elena, Rude, & Reno at that Turtle's Bar-thingie. After a short argument, Elena storms off and gets captured by Don Corneo, then gets saved ^_^ 8) You see Tseng for the last time. He's dying from getting attacked by Sephiroth (ick..), and he hands you the Keystone. Obviously, there's no battle. 9) You see a sequence of Elena & Tseng in the temple. Tseng is asking her out to dinner, but of course, he can't make it ^^;; 10) In the beginning of Disc 2 at Icicle Inn, you see Shinra soldiers accompanied by Elena, who confronts Cloud for killing Tseng @_@ There's no battle, except the part where Elena tries to punch Cloud out ^_^;; You can avoid the punch by pressing directional buttons. It doesn't matter wheter ya get hit or not, tho. 11) At the Junon underwater reactor-thingie, you'll see Reno. You don't battle him, but he summons some kind of mechanical boss. 12) Another battle w/ Rude & Reno! But ya know, I don't remember this battle ^^; This occurs in the sunken ship, "Gelnika": BOSS: Reno (Lv: 42  HP: 15000  MP: 230)            Rude (Lv: 49  HP: 20000  MP: 280) Rude (the bald guy ^_^;) uses the spells Ice 2 and Fire 2. Reno casts this attack called "Neo Turks' Light Ray". This battle is pretty tough. Just inflict enough damage on one, and the other will leave. However, if you kill Reno, Rude will just stay until you lower his HP to 0. Since this might be a long, tough battle use Haste on your characters. Rude & Reno can confuse your peepz, and this can be bad. Also, Cloud's 3/1 Limit break (I think it's Blade Beam) works well. Summon spells also work well. You get an Elixer if you win, too ^_^ And no, even if you lowered their HP to 0, they're still alive. Or atleast Rude is for that matter. 13) Another battle with Rude! This time, it's at Cid's Rocket. They're trying to launch it at the meteor ^^; Below are his stats: BOSS: Rude (Lv: 42  HP: 9000  MP: 240)                        Attack Squad (Lv: 34  HP: 1300  MP: 100)                        Attack Squad (Lv: 34  HP: 1300  MP: 100) The Attack Squad, of course, is easy to beat. Frankly, Rude is pretty easy, too. If I were you, kill Rude first so because even if the soldiers are still alive, the battle is automatically won. Either way, Rude uses a jumping wave attack, hitting only about 500. He also uses MBarrier, usually after a soldier or 2 are killed. He can also use Bolt 2 on himself to heal himsell 1000+. You win an S-Mine ^_^ 14) This is the last appearance of the Turks, unless you do Yuffie's subquest during Disc 3. Speaking of her subquest, you HAVE to battle 'em if you didn't do it. If you did, you get a choice. Below are their stats: BOSS: Elena (Lv: ??  HP: 30000  MP: ???)            Reno (Lv: 50  HP: 25000  MP: 200)            Rude (Lv: 51  HP: 28000  MP: 250) They have many attacks, but I'm only listing the most-used one's. Rude has this punching attack, hitting one character by 2000. Elena has a fire-bomb attack that inflicts 500-600 points of damage. Reno has a spark-attack that hits about 800. Remember: Elena is healed by by lightning, Reno by ice, and Rude by fire. Then again, I can be wrong. I skipped this battle ^_^; They aren't much individually, but.. they aren't battling you individually, so this is a pretty tough battle. Use Barrier & Haste on u & your allies. Use Ultima, Tornado, and limit breaks. Only use Phoenix at desperate matters. It will revive your characters, but heal Rude.
