DESCRIPTION: Yuffie or her past hardly affects the game, considering she is also the other hidden character. Yuffie is a ninja, being that she descends from a long line of 'em. Personality-wise, Yuffie is pretty selfish and arrogant. If you do Yuffie's subquest, she steals your materia but you get it back ^^ Oh, and did I mention she's a materia-hunter? In other words, Yuffie is just a sugar-rushed selfish, sneaky girl.
 YUFFIE'S PAST...
SELPHIE: Dang, is anything known about this girl's past?! Oh well, I'll write what is known. Yuffie was raised at a town in the Western-most Continent, this town being Wutai. You here about Wutai throughout the game, hearing that there were wars going on there before. Like, you here from Elmyra (Aeris' foster-mom) that her husband was off at a war in Wutai, and died there. Heck, most of Yuffie's past pertains mostly to Wutai and not much to Yuffie herself. Wutai used to be an important town, with powerful warriors and stuff. Then years ago (I think even before Yuffie is born), a neighboring city declared war with Wutai; I forgot the name of  this city ^_^; In the war, Wutai was defeated. Wutai's history of Ninja reckoning was sorta forgotten, and Wutai became a resort town. That's why Yuffie joins your party in the first place; she wants to steal your materia and bring it to Wutai to popularize the place and make it more than just some "resort town". That's pretty-much all that is known about Yuffie.
HOW TO GET YUFFIE....
RINOA: Yuffie is one of the hidden charcters in the game along with Vincent; her being the easier one to get. The earliest time to get her in the game is once you're out of the Myrthrill Mines and headed to Junon. NeWayz, you can get her on your party anytime during the game. As you're headed there, you see a bunch of bushy green things; these are forests. You have to roam around in them until you encounter Yuffie and fight her. Remember, this pretty-much depends on luck. I noticed that with Barret and Red on my team, even after 2358257 battles I never ran into Yuffie. However, with Tifa & Aeris in my party, I encountered her on the 2nd attempt. I heard that she mostly encounters around the Gongana Area and the Junon Area, but I was also able to get her at the bushy areas surrounding the Temple of Ancients. Notice when you battle her, she has some pretty cool moves. But for some reason, when she's in your party she doesn't use 'em. Now once you've inflicted enough damage, here's how the dialogue should go:
(NOTE: DON'T use the savepoint! Yuffie will steal some Gil from you!)
1) After some talk about how she can't believe she was defeated, she gives you an option on what to say. Say: "Not interested"
2) Talk to her again, then she'll say some more stuff. After giving you an option to say, pick: ".... petrified"
3) She'll start saying "I'm really going to leave, you know!" say: "Wait a second!"
4) She'll talk and give another option. Pick: ".... That's right"
5) She'll consider joining your party. You can say, "What's your name?" Don't say that! She'll steal Gil from you. Instead, say: "Let's hurry on."
SELPHIE: Say everything right, and don't use the savepoint! Or else you'll have to battle her all over again and repeat the steps.

YUFFIE'S ULTIMATE WEAPON...
SELPHIE: Yuffie's ultimate weapon can be found in one of those treasure chests in the sunken Shinra plane "Gelnika". I think you have to have Yuffie in your party in order to see or open the chest. The chest is sort of "hidden", so keep an eye out for it. Yuffie's ultimate weapon is the Conformer; if Yuffie is fighting an enemy(s) that's a higher level than her, the Conformer's powers rise.
YUFFIE'S MANUAL LIMIT BREAK...
RINOA: You can get Yuffie's manual limit break anytime after you have completed her subquest. To get her manual limit break, go to the pagoda in Wutai. You are supposed to fight 4 boss-type people. A fter you defeat these 4, you find out there's a 5th; and this guy is Godo, Yuffie's dad. If you defeat him, Godo will give you Leviathan and her manual limit break, All Creation! Having a hard time defeating these bosses? Read below then:
1) BOSS: Gorky (Lv: 30  HP: 3000  MP: 150)
Of all the stupid names.... newayz ^_^; This battle is easy. Just haste Yuffie (remember; these are one-on-one battles) and keep using the Deathblow materia. And remember to heal urself when needed.
2) BOSS: Shake (Lv: 32  HP: 4000  MP: 180)
Use the same method as battling Gorky. Just heal yourself after its "Furious Bomber" attack, for it hits a lot. On the contrary, it also fills up your limit break bar ^_^ Make good use of it.
3) BOSS: Chekhov (Lv: 34  HP: 5000  MP: 210)
Again, pretty-much use the same method. Keep your HP up, because you can get paralyzed by this boss.
4) BOSS: Staniv (Lv: 36  HP: 6000  MP: 240)
Frankly, this is the easiest boss of the Pagoda. Use the same method on it as you did with Shake.
5) BOSS: Godo (Lv: 41  HP: 10000  MP: 1000)
Of course, the hardest boss of the Pagoda is Godo. His attacks and techniques change, according to what face of his is facing you. He has various attacks, including Trine (enemy skill). He also can drain your HP, which heals him a bit. He also uses his MP to heal himself. To defeat him, rid of his MP with a Ghost Hand item or the Magic Hammer enemy skill, which you can pick up from those razor weed thingz in Wutai. There are many methods you can use to beat him. You can wait until all his MP is gone, then attack. You can also Beserk yourself, as long as your attacks hit 1200+ and you have enough HP. You get All Creation if you defeat him!
