Game 3
Game 1
The Violators went for a massive north flank, and a small dwarven force in the center. WCC took a small south flank. The Violators engaged in the northwest, killed a few exposed WCC fetch and pureed WCC's melee completely. Meanwhile, Malkavian's lone trow tagged the south flags and a quick 6-flag win resulted. Game 2
The Violators went for the same plan to the south, and WCC flanked north (but it was a smaller flank this time). WCC again didn't protect their fetch adequately, and the Violators' trow kicked all six to death. The Violators crossed the bridge with two olegs and did some severe damage, letting V's melee forces clean up despite being plinked by soulless. WCC's trow stood by and watched their berserkers die, then committed with no backup and were surrounded and killed. Nothing but soulless left for WCC, and the Violators tagged all six flags to win. Game 3
WCC started in the southwest this game, with the Violators northeast. WCC defended their base with myrmidons, thrall and archers, while the Violators' entire army went to the center. V's trow pulled off the crucial north ball grab and they retreated to a strong point with 5 balls. WCC were forced to move in with trow and zerks, but were repelled by archer fire. Malkavian tried a commando raid and lost his trow. As the final countdown approached, WCC charged in with their trow and zerks. They never really stood a chance. Game 4
WCC started this game in the northeast, while the Violators were southeast. V went all-out northeast while WCC's trow went away gathering balls. The Violators attacked the enemy home and killed their myrmidons, thrall and archers. WCC's zerks stood idly by and watched this carnage, then ran away. The Violators' infantry and trow pursued them and killed them, leading to a nine-ball victory. Game 5
This game the Violators went for four wights worth of pus and three dwarves, with no archers. WCC took some archers and less pus and dwarves. Both armies went for a large north flank, WCC also sending a smaller force to the middle. WCC killed BeavisChrist's ghols, which was a bad move; it made Malkavian and Agbaar mad. Their flank fell upon WCC's flank in the cramped village streets and superior maneuvering by V let them kill their foes. Meanwhile, TT Torsion's center force dashed towards the enemy village and met Mr. Nobody's three dwarves. Forced to retreat by showers of scorched, twisted metal and a rain of body parts, the orange WCC warriors huddled dazedly just outside the village, until Skynxnex added pus to their list of 'least favourite things'. WCC tried another feint at the enemy home and were again repelled by the dwarven cocktails. Meanwhile, the Violators' flank had made its way to the enemy home and attacked. Their hurt multi-veteran warriors were mown down by archer fire, but their thrall were able to push WCC's archers away from the flag to capture. At about this time, WCC made their final assault on the enemy flag, charging up a narrow alleyway towards the two dwarves standing at the other end. It wasn't going to be pretty, but fortunately for TT Torsion, the game ended before the cocktails started exploding. The Violators decided to award their opponents three points for this game, as they came very close to making it into the village multiple times. Match Summary (films)
WCC's World Cup Conquest plans are shot down by the Violators in a friendly, pleasant manner, and both teams enjoyed the match. As Eldreth says, "All told, the Violators had a convincing victory, winning all 5 games and earning their spot in the next round. Despite some comical 'teleporting' ball tricks that plagued one game of caps (hope they send you the tape), and 4 restartes due to someone startin center, the games went without a hitch. They are an honorable group to play." The Violators will go on to face the Civil Order in Elimination Round Three. - Butcher
