It takes international experience to win the Myth World Cup, and representing 5 countries on two continents, the Warhammer Combat Clan has what it takes to get to the top. A group with well-developed indivdual skills, the WCC has been working hard to become a force to reckon with in tournament play. Strengths: WCC favors a very methodical, patient attack, utilizing the whole field and relying on sheer speed and striking power to take advantage of an opponent's errors. Defensive prowess makes it difficult to control the game in WCC's end for any length of time. Solid ball-handling skills. Weakness: Although fine individual players, WCC lacks extensive team play in exhibitions and World Cup competition. Also lacks size; rumor has it that the Trow on this squad aren't regular team members but free agents signed specifically for this tourney. Controlling a fast tempo pace and pressing early on with agressive play may be the only way to beat this team. A lead must be built in the first half to have any chance to stave off WCC's spectacular second half rallies. |
