GCS Engine Feature

  • Ability to use MP3's for music.

  •  
  • MD2 Weapons

  •  
  • More lifelike environments, with earthquakes, falling rocks, rippling

  • water, and bullet holes.
     
  • Greater enemy AI, with features like team tactics, stealth, taking

  • cover, and calling in reinforcements.
     
  • More realistic enemy physics, like if an enemy gets shot near a wall, their blood sticks to the wall, (like in Half-Life) blood on floor near dead enemy, different skins for enemy that is injured or dead, animations for getting injured, at least two different death animations, and the same weapon features as the player.

  • Higher texture resolution, with a maximum of 1024X768.

  • Optional third person perspective.

  •  
  • Ability to have third person perspective camera move to certain positions in specified areas.

  • Spells, so you can temporarily freeze enemies or summon other enemies to fight for you.

  • Visible projectiles from enimies ( like fire balls, ice shards, spears ect.)

  • Blood and bullet holes when things get shot

  • Shattering effects ( like if you shoot a glass surface)

  • Object mover ( Movable walls in game: like the trash dump in star wars where the walls move in)

    GCS Windows Editor

  • Window with 3D view to see the level while you edit it like in the quake editors.

  •  
  • Branching effect to view all objects in the level and quickly edit their properties.

  • Branching effect for scripting instead of the current animation editor.

  • Ability to create complex cut scenes in real time with a moving camera. Shadow bars would be nice too.

  • An included  MD2 editor / animator / skinner.

  • Ability to toggle between three physics modes (human, vehicular and flight) and the possibility create your own.
