these guys fell from a tree in March, I cared for them for 4 days and then my husband took them to a gal in Alton Illinois that takes care of wild birds. As of today, they are free and flying. Taking care of baby birds is hard. If you notice some on the grond place then in a hanging plant back in the tree, If you are unsure of the tree leave it on the ground. Mama will come back. SHE CAN NOT SMELL HUMANS. that is a myth. But try not to mess with them when at all possible. Keep watching them and if you do not see mama come back then take care of them for her. Some vets will take them. or you can call and AVIAN vet for instructions on proper care.
