AARON TIPPIN TO SPEND THANKSGIVING IN AFGHANISTAN November 14th,
2006 |

Tippin Scheduled for Overseas Visit to Perform for US Troops November 18th Through 27th
(Nashville, TN) –
Aaron Tippin is pleased to announce that he will be spending this Thanksgiving holiday with our soldiers overseas November
18th through the 27th. Aaron is going to travel to Afghanistan and entertain the troops performing all of his hits in addition
to his new music from Now & Then.
“Those are the real workin’ men and women, and if I can repay even
an ounce of what they are doing for me, my family, and my country by taking their mind off of the day-to-day risks…well,
I can’t think of a better thing to do with my time,” Aaron said earlier today. “They have been fighting
for the rights we take for granted every day, and I want to make sure they know we’re thankful.”
Aaron
Tippin launched his career in 1991 with his debut single, “You’ve Got To Stand For Something,” a single
that reached Top Ten status and quickly became an anthem for a nation embroiled in the conflict of Desert Storm. Aaron found
that many viewed him as a voice of patriotism, a badge he wears proudly to this day. Following yet another tragic time in
our country’s history, Aaron again rose to the occasion with the song “Where The Stars And Stripes And The Eagle
Fly,” immediately following the 9/11 terrorist attacks. Aaron donated the proceeds from the commercial single, which
zoomed to the No. 2 position on the Billboard chart, to the Disaster Relief Fund of the Nashville Area Chapter of the American
Red Cross. “Country fans went out and bought the record to help other Americans who needed help at the time,”
Aaron says. “That’s common of what real country fans are like.”
It is the fan enthusiasm and support
that has motivated Aaron to take an active role not only through his music, but through performances for the troops. To date,
Aaron has performed for over 500,000 military personnel either overseas or here at home. In addition, he is the spokesman
for the Armed Services YMCA, an aviator, and an avid military supporter. His family ties currently lead to a son-in-law who
is also a pilot currently serving overseas for our country, and Aaron boosts his morale and his fellow troops with annual
performances and visits to the base.
More information on the location of Aaron’s performances will be announced
soon at www.aarontippin.com. Stay tuned to the website for photos from Aaron’s trip following his return! |
Aaron Tippin fans came in mass to see his performance in Fort Bragg, North Carolina on October 25th. A fan even
traveled 3 hours just to meet the man he had idolized for 20 years after seeing information about the event on the
internet. Tippin performed a 20-minute acoustic set in front of over 800 soldiers and their families at the North Post PX
store. After the show, Tippin signed CDs for more than 2 hours. The store ended up selling close to 500 CDs to Tippin fans.
The line to meet Tippin stretched the length of the mall twice! A true patriot, Tippin’s words and music touched everyone
in the audience.

Aaron Tippin - Now and Then
- “Now and Then” by longtime country singer Aaron Tippin is the definition of a modern
country album. The acoustic guitar is the featured instrument but the drums and electric guitar dominate a lot of the songs. The styling
is the country rock Garth Brooks debuted and carried on today by the largest country stars.
The best song on the album happens to be Tippin’s first single off the album, “Ready to Rock (In a Country Kind of Way).”
The first single and song on the album is an anthem of what to expect from the rest of the disc -- the hard rock sound with
the good ole’ country flavor.
Fans of the highly popular country-rock sound should definitely think about giving
Aaron Tippin’s new album, “Now and Then” a good listen.

Aaron Tippin is 'Ready to Rock' with New Album September
5th, 2006 |
|
Nashville, TN) -- September 5, 2006 -- After years with major record companies, Aaron Tippin recently
launched his own record label imprint, Nippit Records, and partnered with Rust Records to market and promote his new album,
Now & The, in stores everywhere September 5, 2006.
The album is comprised of three new songs including the new
single, “Ready to Rock (In a Country Kind of Way),” a tribute to his father titled “He Believed,”
and a new love song, “I Could Not Stop Myself,” as well as newly recorded versions of 10 Tippin hits, including
“Workin’ Man PhD,” “Blue Angel,” and “I Got it Honest.”
In an unprecedented
move, Tippin also recorded spoken introductions to each hit on the CD, giving the listener the stories behind those songs.
In
recording the new songs, Tippin worked with producer Jimmy Sloas, a famed bass player who has worked with Garth Brooks, the
Imperials and Keith Urban. “I always thought ‘If I ever get to the independent world, he’s one of the guys
I want to work with,” says Tippin. “When we played him the new stuff, he went ballistic. He loved it and wanted
to be a part of it.”
“I came here to do music,” Tippin says of his move to Tennessee. “Now
it’s like being brand new with 15 years experience. You can’t beat that. I let go of the wheel and am pushing
the gas now. Let this baby run where she goes. Just let it happen. It feels great!”
Tippin will be visiting country
radio and fans in the South Carolina, Tennessee, and Ohio regions the week of his album release and performing at several
Dr. Pepper in-store visits. In addition, the week of September 11th Tippin will appear on Fox News Channel’s Dayside,
The Lars Larson Show, The Joey Reynolds Show, Blueroom, Music Choice, NYC Profiles, Sirius Radio, and more.
