Subject: "THAT LAST 10%"

 THAT LAST 10% By LtCol Hank Kramer 

I'm as patriotic as anyone. In the wake of September 11 and the evil that was done to 
the United States, I fly my flags and mourn with our Nation. But I want to take a minute to 
pick on some people. Please understand, I love the way our nation has come together in the
last two weeks.  
 
I saw a recent poll that President George W. Bush has a 90% approval rating-the highest 
ever for an American President. But, please tell me: Who are the other 10%?  

They are a professor at the University of North  Carolina, who called on Bush 
to apologize. Yes, apologize to the world for American Imperialism. That this is our fault.  

They are Jesse Jackson, who said that America is now a "police state" and we 
will lose our "civil liberties."  That racial profiling will rule, and we will lose our freedom.   

They are college students across our Nation that carry "peace" symbols, yet 
threaten to vandalize any fire truck in Berkley, CA. that flies the American flag. 

I will deal with them one by one: 
  
First, to the college professor:  You are a fascist idiot. And I am chilled 
knowing that you, and people like you are teaching America's youth. You are 
no American, and should be deported to Cuba on the next raft headed that way. 

Second, to Jesse Jackson: Thank you for your kind words at time when America 
is pulling together. Nothing like a moron like you to stir up dissension 
during our darkest hour. Don't forget, Jesse, that people died for our 
freedoms long before you "blessed" us with your forgettable presence. That 
freedom comes with a price. And if you aren't willing to pay that price, 
then shut up, go visit your mistress, and stay off my TV! 

And lastly, to the college  students: You have no idea what you have.You've 
been fed with a silver spoon, bought from the closest Saks in your suburban 
neighborhood, and you have not the slightest inkling of the threat posed to 
America. 

Grow up. Get a job. Try balancing that job with a wife or husband, 
a couple of kids, and a mortgage payment. Try wondering how to spread 
yourself just thin enough you don't crumble. And try being so many things to 
so many people who depend solely on you. Worry about their future for a 
change, instead of your own.  See beyond your childhood blinders in a world 
where there are people that would like nothing more than to take you down. 
To destroy those freedoms you have not even begun to understand. And learn 
to find strength in your God and your flag, because when Daddy cuts off the 
money supply, that's all you've got left! 

I have heard many people the last few days start to waiver in their 
vengeance. Poor Afghanistan. They are a troubled people ravaged by war and 
famine. They have done nothing wrong, and now many innocent people will die. 
People, understand this: 

New Yorkers are digging through rubble, trying to find bodies so loved ones 
can bury them. Problem is, they are only finding body parts. There were 
about 15 day care centers in the World Trade Centers. 15! Each one had about 
25 children in it. That's almost 400! Haven't you seen on TV, a Fire Fighter 
crying because he can't stomach the idea of seeing just one more child's 
leg, arm, head, or part of a torso charred in the rubble-dismembered to the 
point where parents and loved ones are asked to bring toothbrushes to 
identify them by DNA; where the stench of death haunts the air to the point 
where it chokes you; where nearly 5,000 crushed, burned, mutilated bodies 
rest buried under thousands of tons of rubble that used to be jobs to nearly 
50,000 people; where melted crayons and toys cling to the sides of steel 
girders where children used to play?  And now those children are dead - no 
futures - no tomorrow. 

To those who are losing their stomachs for vengeance: I say, do not forget. 
Do not ever, ever forget. America cannot, will not, tolerate this. Ever. 
Under no circumstances. Not here. Not our children. Not our parents, our 
brothers or our sisters. Ever. And, if innocent people, in a land far away, 
have to become "collateral damage" to avenge the deaths of our innocent, so 
be it!  

Remember, this is our way of life we are defending. Our freedom. Our freedom  
to live day to day, not in terror, but in the pursuit of happiness. The  
broader spectrum here is the future of our way of life. If innocent people  
are killed while we rid the world of this evil that can anytime come back  
and kill even more of us, then that is the price to pay. 

Think about that the next time you see a child.

Subject: Clinton Joins the Blame-America-First Crowd

Bill Clinton says that terror has existed in America for hundreds of years and the 
U.S. is "paying a price today" for its past sins. 
This is what the millionaire speech maker said Wednesday at Georgetown University, 
according to today's Washington Times: 
"Here in the United States, we were founded as a nation that practiced slavery, and 
slaves quite frequently were killed even though they were innocent. 
"This country once looked the other way when a significant number of native Americans 
were dispossessed and killed to get their land or their mineral rights or because they 
were thought of as less than fully human. 
"And we are still paying a price today." 
This is from the man who is causing a black heritage site in Little Rock, Ark., to be 
demolished so his presidential "library" can be built. 
The impeached ex-president blames today's Muslim terrorism on Christians of long ago. 
"In the first Crusade, when the Christian soldiers took Jerusalem, they first burned a 
synagogue with 300 Jews in it and proceeded to kill every woman and child who was a 
Muslim on the Temple Mount. I can tell you that story is still being told today in the 
Middle East, and we are still paying for it." 
Fox News Channel tonight showed a clip of him sounding like a stereotypical Guilty 
White Liberal: "Those of us who come from various European lineages are not 
blameless." 
Clinton's bizarre solution to terrorism: Make freeloading countries even more 
dependent on U.S. taxpayers. Despite the dismal failure of America's government 
schools to educate our own children, and despite the fact that Mideast nations send 
America-hating terrorist "students" to the U.S. for training, he thinks Americans should 
pay to educate students from foreign countries! 
"We ought to pay for these children to go to school - a lot cheaper than going to war," 
he claimed. 
Will Clinton's blame-America-for-terrorism comments spark even 1 percent of the 
criticism heaped on Jerry Falwell and Pat Robertson for their remarks? Of course not; 
most media are not even reporting Slick Willie's not-so-bon mots.

Subject: America Bashers

Pacifists, leftists, and those who blame America for the ills of the world
are telling us that the horrific attacks on the World Trade Center and
Pentagon, and the anthrax threat, are somehow our own fault.
A frequently heard claim is that the chickens are coming home to roost 
apparently meaning the chickens of militarism and capitalism.
We must face the fact that there are Americans who dislike America, and what
it stands for, so much that they sympathize with the mass murderers, rather
than with the widows and orphans of their own people.
Still, the America bashers may not be entirely wrong.
The clucking, flapping sounds they hear may indeed be chickens coming home to
roost. But it could be their own chickens. They blocked drilling for oil, mining coal, 
damming rivers, and building nuclear power plants. Then they deny responsibility 
when our dependence on imported oil may involve us in a Middle East war.

They taught kids that American history is full of shameful events. Then they
wonder why their graduates are reluctant to defend the country verbally, much
less physically.

They told kids, " I don't care who started it; you're going to the
principal's office." Then they are surprised when kids grow up afraid of
confrontation and tolerant of bullies.

They kicked the Boy Scouts out of schools. Then they wonder why boys don't
grow up loyal, helpful and brave.

They kicked ROTC out of high schools and colleges. Then they complain when
military officers are less likely to be graduates of civilian colleges.

They told kids that guns are evil and forbade even pictures of guns. Then
they profess dismay when only criminals and terrorists have the knowledge and
will to use weapons.

They removed books on the Marine Corps from school libraries because of "zero
tolerance for violence." Then they wonder who will defend the country.

They taught that all cultures and ideas are equally valid. Then they are
distressed when their graduates hesitate to condemn terrorism, slavery or
oppression of women.

They taught that truth is subjective and there are no universal values. Then
they wonder why many Americans are confused and uncertain, while those who
hate us are confident and self-assured.

They proclaimed, "One man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter."
Then they are frightened and confused when relatives and friends are murdered
by terrorists. What freedom, specifically, were the plane-crashers and
anthrax-spreaders advancing?

They declared that all Americans are responsible for slavery. Then they are
upset when bigots use the same group-guilt thinking to blame all Muslims for
terrorism.

They ridiculed the importance of an oath and laughed at honor. Then they
expect firefighters and police officers to run into buildings they are
running out of.

They allowed four firefighters to burn to death rather than allow
water-dropping planes to get water from a lake containing endangered fish.
Then they expect firefighters to make the supreme sacrifice to save them.

They concentrated on the environment and ignored world affairs. Then they are
too embarrassed to discuss the environmental damage caused by the Twin Towers
atrocity, where dust and smoke could be smelled 40 miles away.

They declared that the internal-combustion engine is the greatest threat to
humanity. Then they hope that no one will remember their colossal misjudgment.

They blamed us for supporting undemocratic rulers. Then they are disappointed
when these rulers fall and are replaced by fanatics who are even more
anti-American and tyrannical. (Ask an Iranian-American.)

They cut the military in half over the past eight years. Then they are
perplexed that we can barely fight on one front, much less two.

They demoralized our military with incessant deployments, to far-flung
places, for dubious reasons. Then they wonder why enlistment quotas cannot be
met despite lower standards and cash bonuses.

They denigrated the military every chance they got. Then they are saddened
when the gulf between civilians and military personnel widens.

In movie after movie, they depicted our leaders as scheming warmongers and
our military as crazed crypto-Nazis. Then they wonder why many foreigners
hate America.

They allowed the living standards of the families of many enlisted personnel
to sink below the poverty line. Then they expect enthusiastic support for
their hare-brained schemes of "peacekeeping" and "nation building."

They stretched our military thin, with deployments to almost 100 distant
places. Then they expect a prompt and massive response when a real crisis
develops.

They insisted that our military be "kinder and gentler." Then they belatedly
wonder whether it might also be less effective.

They made basic training less stressful. Then they have to face the fact that
soldiers may be less prepared for combat, which is still as deadly and
stressful as ever.

They vehemently opposed a missile defense system. Then they speculate what
would happen if Saddam launches missiles loaded with anthrax or nuclear
waste.

They emasculated the CIA and relied on high-tech surveillance. Then they are
puzzled when we had no one on the ground in Afghanistan, and few who even
speak the language.

They hobbled our intelligence agencies with unrealistic rules. Then they are
angry that the terrorist attacks were not foreseen and prevented.

They forbade the CIA to hire agents who had records of crimes or civil rights
violations. Then they wonder why we cannot penetrate terrorist gangs.

They pushed for open borders and unlimited immigration. Then they wonder how
terrorists get into the country with ease.

They hindered police and federal agents with restrictive court decisions.
Then they are perplexed when these agencies are less capable.

They punished law enforcement officers for "racial profiling" and "cultural
insensitivity." Then they wonder how Middle Eastern terrorists can move about
freely.

They made planes and schools "gun-free zones." Then they are shocked 
when these places become playgrounds for terrorists.

They did nothing when Americans were killed on the USS Cole and at Sbarro's
pizzeria. Then they are bewildered when their inaction was taken as an 
invitation for more killing.

They banned prayer in public places. Then they don't know what to do when
tragedy evokes prayers from millions.

They taught that life has no meaning beyond itself. Then they hope that
people will forget this lesson and face death in distant places so that they
can stay safe at home.

They tried to ban "The Star-Spangled Banner" as too warlike and "God Bless
America" as too religious. Then they are frustrated when we insist on singing
even louder.

They looked down on patriots as ignorant buffoons and would-be fascists. But
when terrorist attacks occur, they are baffled when flags appear everywhere.
Yes, there are clucking, flapping noises. There are chickens coming home to
roost. But they belong to the very people who now criticize America the most
bitterly.
The mess, of course, has been left for the rest of us to clean up. As usual,
the America bashers are too busy criticizing to do anything constructive.

Subject: Letter from a Police Officer
And the beat goes on........

Today, my unit and I took the day off from our regular duties and became
part of the Mobile Field Force for our Bureau.  That's because the
October 22nd Coalition Against Police Brutality had obtained the
necessary permits to demonstrate against the police.  The permits
indicated up to 2,500 would take part in a demonstration/parade that
would start at Olympic Bl. and Broadway, and would march 9 blocks up to
Temple St. and then end in front of LAPD Headquarters.  We had 5 Mobile
Field Forces plus 3 Metro Platoons ready for the event (approximately
350 cops).  My platoon had the duty to form a blocking force across the
street from Police Headquarters and keep the demonstrators from going
into the mall area around City Hall.  We had front row seats to the
diatribe that would be coming our way from the demonstrator's sound
trucks.  The demonstration was scheduled to start at 1500 hours and last
until 2000 hours.

When we got the word that the demonstrators had started marching, we
were advised that only 250 people had showed up.  They arrived in front
of us and the demonstration leaders paraded about a dozen people up to
the sound stage, so they could tell their story of loved ones "murdered"
by police, and a "marginalized youth" who had been "turned" into
criminals by the system and the crooked cops of America.  Among the
demonstrators were numerous teenagers, including several kids ranging in
age from 8 to 13 years, wearing black t-shirts denouncing police
brutality.  These kids marched at the front of the group while banging
on drums.  The first thing that came to mind was the cowardice of
placing children in front of a group which had to be dispersed by
less-lethal munitions last year when they turned riotous.  Cowards
indeed.

Among the demonstrators were masked members of the Revolutionary
Communist Party, who have instigated unlawful activities in the past in
order to provoke officers into making arrests.  These people were
spewing out a hate for America's economic strength and all things
global.  I kept thinking "Cuba has the kind of government they like.
Why don't they go there?"  

ACLU sent an attorney to complain about the steps the government is 
taking to deal with terrorism, and the need to stop police brutality
and racial profiling from affecting minorities.

While we fight terrorism abroad by sending our brothers, sisters,
husbands, wives, sons, daughters, in harm's way;............. while our
firemen and police officers mourn the loss of their brothers and
sisters; .............while we mourn the loss of two more fellow
officers today; ...........while hundreds of LAPD officers stood in the
streets of downtown L.A. instead of providing services to their
respective communities;...............250 people with no work to go to,
no school to attend, spent Monday spitting and vilifying the very
entities that guaranteed their safety and their right to be there.  The
vomit tried to rise up in my throat, but I decided to be stronger then
these insignificant people today.  I smiled at them instead.

Some days the job asks too much of us.  Unfortunately, we must continue
to give.  These pathetic people can never win.

Clinton Pitched Fit Over Hillary Boos

Ex-president Bill Clinton pitched a fit backstage at Paul McCartney's Twin Tower benefit 
concert Saturday night after his wife, Sen. Hillary Clinton, was roundly booed by the audience.

Clinton "was very vocal and pointed backstage in his displeasure about the reception for 
Hillary," reports New York Daily News gossip columnist Mitchell Fink. He was "not happy," 
Fink added euphemistically.

The ex-president became "vocal and pointed" after Mrs. Clinton was nearly hooted off the 
stage by concert-goers who apparently resented her attempt to horn in on an event that was 
staged to honor firefighters and policemen who had perished in the Twin Tower attack.

"Thank you - thank you for being here tonight," Mrs. Clinton shouted as she struggled to be 
heard, before introducing a video by stand-up comic Jerry Seinfeld.

Some in the booing crowd no doubt recalled that at Hillary's nominating convention last year, 
Clinton-backers spat on five members of an Albany Police honor guard as they marched an 
American flag into the convention center.

Two months earlier, Mrs. Clinton had branded as murderers four New York cops who were 
later acquitted in the accidental shooting death of Amadou Diallo.

The sour reception mirrors the welcome Mrs. Clinton got from cops and firefighters just two 
days after the attacks, when she accompanied President Bush to Ground Zero in lower 
Manhattan.

"The cops and firemen couldn't wait to shake Bush's hand," one eyewitness told NewsMax.com 
exclusively. "But when Hillary came by, everyone just stood there with their arms folded. 
Nobody wanted to shake her hand. It was embarrassing."

The Daily News mention of Mrs. Clinton's humiliating concert reception was the only mainstream 
print coverage of the incident.

WABC Radio in New York and nationally syndicated radio host Don Imus, however, did replay 
clips of the crowd booing Hillary from the original VH1 cablecast

Hillary Booed at McCartney's Twin Towers Relief Concert

New York Senator Hillary Clinton was roundly booed at former Beatle Paul McCartney's 
Twin Towers relief concert, held at Manhattan's Madison Square Garden Saturday night.

The embarrassing moment came as Sen. Clinton introduced a short video clip from 
stand-up comic Jerry Seinfeld.

Though the former first lady has tried to capitalize on the Twin Towers tragedy, thrusting 
herself before one TV camera after another in an effort to connect with average New Yorkers 
and advance her 2004 presidential ambitions, McCartney's concert showed the effort still 
needed more work.

One eyewitness to the scene reported to the website FreeRepublic.com that Clinton 
"was booed so loudly, she had to yell into the mike to be heard."

Another estimated that "90 percent" of the crowd jeered the former first lady.

Her husband, the former president, who was also present, got a much warmer reception.

These so call "Peace Activist" are ASSHOLES! They are really Anti-America, 
They would rather give up your freedom for Peace. To become like cattle awaiting 
to be slaughtered. Do you think these terrorist would want you to live in peace? 
These terrorist would slit your throat given the chance. They say give peace a 
chance, We have, when terrorist bombed the World Trade Center the first time,
we did nothing. Terrorist bombed our embassies in Africa, 223 dead, 12 were 
Americans, and we did nothing. Terrorist bombed the U.S.S. Cole killing 17 American 
sailors, well Clinton did a half-ass job and lobbed a few cruise missiles in Afghanistan, 
did we accomplish anything? Terrorist bombed an Air Force barracks in Saudi Arabia, 
we did nothing. Soldiers were mutilated and dragged through the streets in Somalia, 
we did nothing! America finally woke up when these terrorist hijacked planes and flew 
them into the Twin Towers in New York and into the Pentagon in Washington D.C. 
Well most of us have waken up. Apparently these Peace Activist haven't. Hey, over 
6,000 men, women, and children died and they want us to give peace a chance?
Let the World Courts take care of the terrorist? Hey, someone has to bring them 
in for justice! These so call "Peace Activist" are a slap-in-the-face to the civilians, 
the men and women of the Fire Departments and Police Departments who died 
in New York and in Washington D.C., and to men and women who wear the 
uniform of the Armed Forces, who will be putting their lives in harms way to 
protect our FREEDOM and our way of life! There are times to turn the other 
cheek and to give peace a chance. I'm not a war-monger and I don't want to 
see people die, but there is a time and THIS IS THE TIME we must stand up
and PROTECT OUR FREEDOM AND BLOW THESE TERRORIST AWAY! 
Yes, these "Peace Activist" are ANTI-AMERICAN ASSHOLES!
Oh yeah, by the way I think it should be a felony for anyone to burn the
U.S. flag in America and a few words to the A.C L.U.

A Harrier Pilot's View

Dear Americans,

When I opened my e-mail this morning I had about twenty forwards of the
article written by Gordon Sinclair, the Canadian who so eloquently
praised the United States. What most of you do not realize is that this
commentary was written many years ago. Those of us in the Military
Service have known about it for a long time. Now, Americans are
flooding the net with it as if it were new. It is not. When it was
written most Americans didn't read it, because most Americans did not care. 
The tragedy that befell all of us on September 11th shocked America.

America no longer feels safe. Many of you have said, "The government
should have known! 30 Billion Dollars is spent on intelligence! What
about the Military!?" Just a reminder America, you voted our
government into office.

For years you allowed some dishonest politicians and twisted television
media personalities to shape your ideas about the defense of our
nation. Why? Because most Americans were too lazy to look
beyond the three minute sound-bites on the evening news. Here's a news
flash not being broadcast much, "On September 11th, America had the
exact level of protection, both militarily and intelligence, that it
was willing to pay for".

Only yesterday the Congress and the Senate approved 40 BILLION dollars
as a "Down Payment" to fight this War. A short time ago, our politicians
said a 100 Million dollar increase for the Navy budget was substantial. In
that same bill they ordered the Navy to conduct an 85 Million Dollar Study
on...guess what America!? Missiles Defense?! No. Desperately needed
parts for our fighter aircraft? Wrong again. Training for Navy Seals? Nah
uh.They wanted Breast Cancer research. Yes, America, your elected
officials decided that the US Navy needed more mammograms and less 
missiles. Was this an under the table sneaky move? No, it was right
out in the open. The
Secretary of Defense and the Secretary of the Navy
both opposed it. A New York Senatorial Candidate (Yes, she's the one) was
enraged that the Military would be so sexist and irresponsible to the
needs of civilians and wanted the Navy to give the money back immediately!
But the media paid it little mind. So, America paid little attention.

Did any one ever watch CSPAN? Particularly when the Heads of our Armed
Services begged OUR representatives to give the Military more money to
fight terrorism and maintain a strong defense? Did you see the
debates by the Heads of the Intelligence Services that terrorism was
the new threat? They told the committees of Congress that the CIA, the FBI,
and the Service did not have the money to build the necessary intelligence
networks in the areas where terrorists were being harbored. They warned
again and again that there was clear and present danger within America's
borders. America must have been watching one of the other 114 satellite
channels.

The Military said: "We need more money to maintain military readiness
and Combat Training."

America Answered : "What the Military needs is Sensitivity Training!
You're all sexist homophobes! I saw it on 60 Minutes!"


The Military said: "We need money to build ships, planes, tanks, and
improve our technology. America still has credible threats throughout
the world. Terrorism will come to America's doorstep."

America Answered: "You're all part of a vast right-wing conspiracy.
There is no more Soviet Threat! My Senator told me so! He/She says we
do not need such a big military! You're dinosaurs trying to hold onto
the Cold War! We need Social Programs!"

The Military said: "We need to recruit more Americans into the
military. We need to increase our force."

America Answered: "You're not taking my kids! We're going to shut down
the ROTC programs at our high schools and universities, because you
discriminate against alternative lifestyles! ROTC teaches CHILDREN
(under 21) how to shoot guns! You just want another Columbine! Rosie 
and Oprah say so!"

The Military said: "We can't keep interfering in the civil wars of
small insignificant countries. It wastes our time, expends our 
resources, decreases training, and demoralizes our troops. The
men and women of the United States are Warriors trying to defend OUR
nation, we are not the third world's police force."

America Answered: "You heartless bastards! Can't you see the tear in
theeye of that starving child!! There are flies on her face for 
Christ's Sake!?  Get Moving! Jesse Jackson on CNN said that is what 
we pay you for!"

The Military Asked: "Why isn't America enraged over the terrorist
attack on the USS COLE that killed seventeen AMERICAN Sailors? How
about the Air Force barracks bombed in Saudi Arabia? The embassy
staffs in Africa? The Soldiers mutilated and dragged through the 
streets in Somalia?"

America Answered: "We don't have time right now! We're busy 
defending Animal Rights! Our schools are handing out automatic
weapons! The federal government is discriminating against cross-dressing
Bolivian hermaphrodites!

The police are all members of the Ku Klux Klan! The lack of Ozone is
ruining my tan! If they cut deeper into Food Stamps those poor women
will have to move down to Size 18/20 Channel dresses! AND THE
WORST! Corporations are raising the prices of there products sooo high
I might not be able to afford the multi-disc DVD Player for my 36'"
digital ready TV! Besides, YOU GUYS ARE PAID TO DIE!

So, America, while you sit on your couch or around your office coffee
pots and ask, "Why did those terrorists kill innocent civilians? Why
didn't they go after the Military?"

Remember this America: They already had but America didn't care. These
Terrorists realized that they needed to kill American Civilians, and
lots of them, before they could have their desired reaction from the
people of this country. Well, now they have it.

 America:  The Good Neighbor.
 Widespread but only partial news coverage was given recently to a
 remarkable editorial broadcast from Toronto by Gordon Sinclair, a Canadian
 television commentator. What follows is the full text of his trenchant
 remarks as printed in the Congressional Record:
 "This Canadian thinks it is time to speak up for the Americans as the most
 generous and possibly the least appreciated people on all the earth.
 Germany, Japan and, to a lesser extent, Britain and Italy were lifted out
 of the debris of war by the Americans who poured in billions of dollars
 and forgave other billions in debts.  None of these countries is today
 paying even the interest on its remaining debts to the United States.
 When  France was in danger of collapsing in 1956, it was the Americans who
 propped it up, and their reward was to be insulted And swindled on  the
 streets of Paris.  I was there.  I saw it.
 When earthquakes hit distant cities, it is the United States that hurries
 in to help.  This spring, 59 American communities were flattened by
 tornadoes. Nobody helped.
 The Marshall Plan and the Truman Policy pumped billions of dollars into
 discouraged countries.  Now newspapers in those countries are writing
 about the decadent, warmongering Americans.
 I'd like to see just one of those countries that is gloating over the
 erosion of the United States dollar build its own airplane.  Does any
 other country in the world have a plane to equal the Boeing Jumbo Jet, the
 Lockheed Tri-Star, or the Douglas DC10?  If so, why don't they fly them?
 Why do all the International lines except Russia fly American planes?
 Why does no other land on earth even consider putting a man or woman on
 the moon?  You talk about Japanese technocracy, and you get radios. You
 talk about German technocracy, and you get automobiles. You talk about
 American technocracy, and you find men on the moon - not once, but several
 times - and safely home again.
 You talk about scandals, and the Americans put theirs right in the store
 window for everybody to look at.  Even their draft-dodgers are not pursued
 and hounded.  They are here on our streets, and most of  them, unless they
 are breaking Canadian laws, are getting American dollars from ma and pa at
 home to spend here.
 When the railways of France, Germany and India were breaking down through
 age, it was the Americans who rebuilt them. When the Pennsylvania Railroad
 and the New York Central went broke, nobody loaned them an old caboose.
 Both are still broke.
 I can name you 5000 times when the Americans raced to the help of other
 people in trouble.  Can you name me even one time when someone else raced
 to the Americans in trouble?  I don't think there was outside help even
 during the San Francisco earthquake.
 Our neighbors have faced it alone, and I'm one Canadian who is damned
 tired of hearing them get kicked around. They will come out of this thing
 with their flag high.  And when they do, they are entitled to thumb their
 nose at the lands that are gloating over their present troubles.  I hope
 Canada is not one of those."

Subject: Gut Check
 
Cowards... nope.

'Jacking a jet and driving it into a high-rise at 300 knots.... no, not
cowards.  I wouldn't do it.  They don't have an air force so they used
our training and our planes, and with great execution... far better that
our fiasco in the desert to save the hostages in Iran.

Although glued to the TV for the last 48 I haven't heard any talking
heads speak with anger and outrage.  They act like it's "Columbine" and
we have to cope with this "tragedy" with counseling before resuming our
lives.....

My guess is you don't hear that talk from blonde air heads in Israeli
TV... 'course they have Uzis in their briefcases.... they're a nation with
some cajones.

This is the picture of America after more than a decade of "sensitivity
classes", of "hate speech", 

of training males and females together in the Army, Air Force and Navy 
(and thank god NOT in the Marine Corps), 

of Shannon Faulkner, of A Navy sub captian crying his eyes out on national
TV after his boat took out a fishing vessel, 

of the last US President having to be taught by aides how to salute because 
as a draft dodger, he never learned, 

of our TV and motion pictures "heroes" vowing to leave the country because 
an election didn't go their way ... then not leaving, 

of having no draft, 

of modify escape and evasion training at the Air Force Academy because some 
female threatened to a lawsuit (after accepting a $750,000 education courtesy 
of the US taxpayer) because she felt "sexually harassed," 

of a female, Army Blackhawk pilot who refused to fly because it was her kid's 
"constitutional right" to breast feed... AND her Army Blackhawk pilot husband 
helping bring the lawsuit against the Army, 

of the meandering definition of what "is" is, 

of career military officers getting masters degrees and PhDs out our expense, 
yet have no idea how to "fix bayonets", let alone lead the charge, 

of Hillary Clinton as a role model, 

of the Air Force disallowing the painting of pin-up nose art on the aircraft of 
men who might just be required to fly said craft to their deaths--all because 
some lesbian from the National Organization of Gals (NAG) threatened a 
branch of the United States Military, 

of "Bobby Has Two Daddies" and "Lisa Has Two Mommies", 

of a 15 year-old needing parental permission for a tattoo, but not for an 
abortion, 

of our tax money being used to pay an "artist" to immerse a crucifix in a jar of
urine, 

of American citizens complaining about the noise military jets make when 
flying over their house... and going to court to get the target runs changed... 
and succeeding; 

of a citizenry that cannot distinguish between an admiral and a chief petty 
officer, or between a pilot and a clerk for that matter.

We don't have John Wayne and Jimmy Stewart...we have Jason Priestly 
and Yanni

We don't have Ernie Pyle and Walter Cronkite... we have Peter Jennings

In short... we have been feminized... not in the Maggie Thatcher, Golda
Meir kick-your-ass way... but in the whining, 
ALCU-get-in-touch-with-your-feelings-men-are-enemies kinda way and
therefore,

we cannot, repeat: must not, deploy troops on a large scale to some place
like Afghanistan,  Our military (except for a few elite units) does not
have the fire in the belly it requires... our enemies have not taken any
sensitivity classes.  And thanks to Bill Clinton and his ilk we have an
eviscerated combat force that is top-heavy of fat ass, butt-boy flag
officers and short on NCOs willing, capable and prepared to skewer Achmed
with a bayonet.  We will now pay the piper for electing Bill Clinton
twice... it will be clear when we mount whatever military response we
eventually choose.  Smart bombs and Cruise missiles (if we have any left)
fired from offshore will only make us look more impotent and less
committed.  And yet, Clinton will still have his defenders despite the
fact that because of him we cannot defend ourselves in the manner
required of the world's only superpower.

And NOW the same people that voted for this moral and physical coward,
want our servicemen and women to go in harm's way... and pay the price
with one arm tied behind their back.

It's been over three decades since I fired a shot in anger in a war we
weren't firmly committed to... and yet we were in a far better mind set
to do what has to be done today that the poor kids we're going to send to
do it.

Thank god curbside check-in has been abolished; I'll sleep better
tonight.

Subject: ML&SS: The Clinton Legacy?

Gentlemen,

It's my belief that our previous Commander-in-Chief, the former President
of the United States, William Jefferson Clinton has left a dishonorable,
disgraceful and terrible legacy for our country. 

No, I'm not talking about his obscene desecration of the Oval Office, nor
his lies to us and our courts. 

I'm not talking about the running of the White House Motel and Grill, the 
renting out of the Lincoln Bedroom or the paid photo ops of rich gun
runners, dope users, et al. 

I'm not talking about the hustling of money in the White House from 
wealthy limousine liberals.

I'm not talking about his extremely large number of pardons of wealthy drug
dealers and such ilk in the final hours of his administration.  All of them
having sponsors with one common denominator, large amounts of money "donated"
to Democratic Party political groups or paid to lawyers friendly to him.  

I'm not even talking about the inordinate numbers of scandals or deaths 
surrounding him and his administration.

I'm talking about the legacy he left our country that it's citizens paid for
with their blood on the 11th of September in the year of our lord, 2001.

I'm talking about the high tech electronics sold to Chinese Communist front
organizations of the Red Army.  

I'm talking about money "donated" by them to the DNC middle manned and 
orchestrated by a a Chinese restaurant owner and "longtime friend" of our 
former President who seemed to have carte blanche entry to the Oval Office.  

I'm talking about the many nationals of foreign countries that fled these
shores when subpoenas were being issued when Congress and our Courts began
to investigate irregularities in sales of banned high tech electronics to 
nations forbidden to receive them.

I'm talking about information in the past few days that has come to light,
such as the former President taking no action on an "eyes on" sighting of 
Osama bin Laden, the master mind of the bombing of the U.S. Embassies, and 
the strike on the U.S.S. Cole where our sailors were killed. 

Now, bin Laden is the number one suspect for master minding and financing the
act of war commited on our own soil 11 September 2001 with thousands of
civilian deaths being the result.

The dozen or so Islamic terrorists who pulled off the plot to strike at 
America's nerve centers in New York and Washington spent months, if not 
years, researching, planning and coordinating the surprise attacks, U.S.
security  officials say.  And they did it completely in secret, using 
the world's most sophisticated telecommunications equipment, some 
secured by advanced  encryption technology that most armies don't have.  

Leitner, who reviews commercial license applications for exports of 
some of the most sophisticated military-related technology, thinks he
knows the answer.   

Some excerpts of statements in Sperry's article made by:
Peter M.  Leitner, a senior strategic trade adviser at the Defense 
Department. 

"The technology that would allow these terrorists to mask their 
communications was given away, hand over fist, by the Clinton 
administration," he said in an interview with WorldNetDaily. 

Leitner says the previous administration rubber-stamped the shipment
of top-end military-related telecommunications equipment to Syria, 
which is on the FBI's list of sensitive countries that pose a threat
to U.S. security.   

Leitner posits that the NSA wasn't able to detect the Islamic terrorists'
plot because of the "high quality of the communications gear that they've 
been acquiring over the last couple of years, thanks to the Clinton 
administration's  decontrols on advanced telecommunications equipment.

"I've testified to Congress that it will take serious numbers of body bags
before we wake up to the need to tighten dual-use export controls," he
said.  "Unfortunately, we've got them now."   "This is so tragic and yet
so preventable,"

"Yet, it was the Clinton administration that gave the Chinese the technology 
to give to Iraq," he noted. 

The Bush administration apparently hasn't woken up, either.   
Wake-up call In June, Leitner was asked by the Commerce Department to OK a
new round of exports of dual-use telecom equipment to Syria.  He denied the
request

"There's still a lot of things inside the government involving national
security that have just got to be changed," Leitner said.  

Yes, our former President, William Jefferson Clinton did leave his legacy. 
It's your call to decide what that legacy is . . . we will have to live with it.
