He was born 7th January 1954 in Cairo/Egypt. He graduated with B.Sc. Agriculture from Cairo University in June 1976. In November 1984 he began his career as an artist by painting portraits in the Spanish Steps in Rome, Italy. His success carried him to various places around Europe, including Italy, Brussels, France and Germany. His first exhibition was held in his home country in the Cairo Opera House in August 1996. This exhibition was televised. He spend 8 month working in City Center Doha/ Qatar starting from October 2004, after that he went to work in Mercato Mall Dubai/ UAE. He currently is working in City Stars Mall/Cairo, making both pastel drawings and oil paintings of landscapes and portraits.
