About Terry
Since 1985, after two years of being an apprentice in the fine art of auto body prepping and painting, Terry, the
artist here at CustomPaint.Org, has been working on his own, perfecting his skills in the custom paint industry. In the Halifax/Dartmouth
area of Nova Scotia where he resides, he is accounted one of, if not the undisputed best, in the business. A fan of paint
in all of it's many incarnations, he dabbles in watercolors, acrylics, pastels and oil paintings: as he says himself, "I'll
paint anything I can get paint to stick to." His favorite medium, however, and the one in which he has the most experience,
is the airbrush. He says that he loves it because of the variety of effects that can be achieved with it: from cartoons to
photo quality paintings.

Terry's Background
Terry has had vast experience in the business: if you lived in the Halifax/Dartmouth area over the
last few years you are sure to have seen some of his work. The Metro Transit busses that were painted with various eye-catching
ads (the Pepsi bus, the Subway bus, the MT&T bus, and others) were all done by him. Although he is no longer working on
such large scale projects, Terry feels that this gives him time to concentrate on the smaller things, things that give him
more pleasure: he likes nothing more than designing and painting t-shirts, whether singly or in batches. His watercolors and
oil paintings, styles which he has picked up relatively recently, also give him great pleasure: they are often beautiful and
peaceful landscapes, skillfully done and hung in a place of honour in his home.
From busses, to cars, to motorcycles, to t-shirts, to watercolors, Terry obviously enjoys working with and
on any medium, and clearly is more deserving of the title of The Artist than Prince ever was.
