Other "Interesting" Stuff About Me

I'm famous!

Yes, it is true that I appeared on the Jerry Springer Show. It was the "Threesome Disasters" episode. (Sure, they all are, but that was the title.) I wasn't a guest, but was in the audience. For those who haven't seen it, I asked a question. It seems that woman A was doing the lambada with woman B and her husband, Mr. B. Then Ms. A left and Mr. And Mrs. B started being realllly friendly with the babysitter. Well, now Ms. A wants back in. For some reason, they also brought out Mr C., who was Ms. A's boyfriend. SO, my question for Mr. C. was "Don't you ever get to get in the mix, or do you just get to hear about it?" Mr.C. acted like he was gettin' jiggy with it, but I suspect he was lying.

My unusual friend, Sam

Everyone I know with a web page refers to our friend, Sam Minter (also of CMU.) Among his other oddities, he has his own mathematical function. What the heck it does, I have no idea. However, he was once approched by James Salsman about using it, along with 12-dimensional contour integration, to go back in time and prevent the Challenger accident. His parents are apparently highly decorated in Mozambique, but despite repeated appeals, he will not share the details of their involvment in the communist revolution there.

Now that he has a "vice president" in his title, he thinks he has to look all smart:

Me and Jerry Mathers. For you Married...With Children fans, he was seated next to that Eddie Munster kid (on his left). I'm not making this up. Also, unlike Steve, the Beav would not put me in a headlock. I tried!
