Red Hot Chili Peppers, Eddie Vedder, Perry
Farrell To Play Benefit Gig For MAP,
Huntington's Disease :
The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Eddie Vedder, and
Perry Farrell are among the musicians that have
signed on for a special benefit concert being held on
June 25 at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles. |
Others coming out for the special one-off include
bassist extraordinaire Mike Watt and Bob Forrest
with the Bicycle Thief. Proceeds from the show will
be split amongst several charities for Huntington's
Disease, a degenerative neurological disorder, and
the Musician Assistance Program, a support group
that provides aid for musicians suffering from alcohol
and drug dependency.
As he did at a special concert for the Jubilee 2000
movement last week in Los Angeles, Farrell will once again take
the stage as a DJ, spinning records and music during
the performance's interludes.
