Gordon Lines Up Dates With Buckcherry, Fuel,
The Flys:
After mounting three short tours of the West Coast
last fall, Gordon -- the Los Angeles newcomers
whose self-titled debut was produced by longtime
Pearl Jam cohort Brendan O'Brien -- is looking to
bring its epic-minded rock to Eastern shores next
month. |
Gordon's first single, "Fortified Grapes," is beginning
to earn some heavy spins across alternative radio,
and the band will look to build upon the buzz by
opening for Buckcherry and Fuel during two weeks
worth of dates, beginning on July 13 in Daytona
Beach, Florida.
The band has also been tapped to perform alongside
the Flys and the Cult's Ian Astbury at a special
Tibetan Independence Festival, being held on July 4
at L.A.'s House of Blues. Gordon will then play a
special one-off show at Atlanta's 9 Lives Saloon on
July 9 in order to smooth out any kinks before
settling into its opening spot.
