At some systems you may have the problem that your HDD is not properly recognised by
the OS/2 FDISK. It could show 64MB instead of the true 4.2 GB. If your hard drive is
bigger then 4.3 you are better of to try HOWTO bigger
then 4.3 GB (OS/2) page.
Fix: 2. Modify the file config.x on the Main Installation diskette as follows: Change the BASEDEV=IBM1S506.ADD statement to read BASEDEV=IBM1S506.ADD /A:0 /I 3. Move the statement BASEDEV=IBMINT13.I13 so it comes before the BASEDEV=IBM1S506.ADD statement. 4. Create a backup copy of the OS/2 Install Disk 1. 5. Modify the config.x and config.sys files on the OS/2 Install Disk 1 as described in step #2. Use the modified diskettes to install OS/2. |
