- Gene Roddenberry's Andromeda is a time travel adventure set in milliniums
past. Gene Roddenberry's Andromeda and Gene Roddenberry's Starship are two new
syndicated science fiction series being developed for fall 2000 television
season. Kevin Sorbo will have the staring role in one of the series.

- Gene Roddenberry's Andromeda is about a scientist on a distant planet who is
inadvertently transported 500 years into the future.

- Gene Roddenberry's Andromeda follows the time travels of a scientist on the
planet Korkyra.

- Kevin Sorbo will have staring role in Gene Roddenberry's Andromeda. The
series has secured two year deals from the Tribune and Sinclair station groups.
Each year have 22 episodes.

- Kevin Sorbo say My character is like a Navy SEAL, whose ship gets caught in
a black hole. He's in suspended animation for 300 years until a salvage ship
rescues and reanimates him. In the meantime a fierce war has devastated the
universe so badly that my ship and my knownledge of my time are beyond what
these people are capable of ....So I basically take it upon my shoulder to save
the universe.

- Kevin Sorbo will play Captain Dylan Sheppard in the Series. The time peroid
series is 3000 years in the future.
The series will be taped in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Fireworks
Entertainment will coproduce the series with Tribune Entertainment.

- Kevin Sorbo character name is Captain Dylan Jericho. Keith Hamilton Cobb
join the cast. Due to provision of Canadian law, most supporting actors will
probably be Canadian actors.

- Tribune Entertainment president Dick Askin report during a first run action
series like Gene Roddenberry's Andromeda in HDTV costs about $20,000 extra per
episode to tape. It smart to pay the extra money up front as the Tribue during
than to later update a show for HDTV.

- Lost Boys Studios of Vancouver will be lead animation and effect house for
Andromeda. Filming for first season 26 episodes will begins on May 8 in
Vancouver. The executive producer is Allan Eastman of Fireworks Entertainment.
Eastman will direct first episodes.

- Keith Hamilton Cobb character is a Nietzschean named Gaharris Raday. Raday
is Captain Hunt's first officer. Raday is a member of Hunt original crew.

- Executive producer Alan Eastman during the preceding week was still casting
the suporting roles for Gene Roddenberry's Andromeda. This week the series start
production in Toronto. Eastman said "We are ready to go, We have scripts for the
first eight episodes and have completed casting on the ensemble cast. Eastman
will direct the first episode and at least four other. Joining Kevin Sorbo in
the cast are Lisa Ryder as Beka Valentine a commander of a space salvage ship
and Lexa Doig as the physical presence of starship Andromeda's computer.

Gene Roddenberry's Andromeda begins
filming in Vancouver this week. The producers have eight completed scripts. The
regular cast is Kevin Sorbo as Captain Dylan Hunt; Lisa Ryder Beka Valentine the
commander of the space salvage ship Eureka Maru; Keith Hamilton Cobb as the
genetically engineered Tyr Anasazi, Lexa Diog as the human form of the sentient
starship Andromeda; Laura Bertram as the mysterious Trance Gemini; Gordon
Michael Woolvett as Harper the Andromeda's young wise cracking tech expert: and
Brent Stait as the alien Rev Bem.
