Canada: It's a BIG place: Canada is about 25 times larger in area than Japan, and 10 times larger than Egypt.

Canada may be big, but it isn't crowded. Canada has less than 25% of the population of Japan, and around half the population of Egypt.

Canada is a fairly multi-cultural country with 29% of Canadians reporting more than one ethnic origin. Half of all immigrants between 1981 to 1991 came from Asia, and Chinese is the fastest-growing mother tongue.

Canada is officially bilingual: 62% of people report English as their mother tongue, and 25% report French.
What's special about Canada? It's a northern country, so it has lots of cold weather. It shares with the U.S. one of the longest  borders in the world.
