Case File, "The Athena Investigation" Section 2
Tim had a few leads to work on. After all, the first thing he needed to do before he could do any sort of investigating is to find out who did it. He needed some sort of lead, and luckily, he had managed to get one within the conversation he had joined before he saw everyone regress. It was when the man with the wild hair had mentioned time and age reducing for his clinic that set Tim off on this search. Tim headed down to his office within the upper levels of the Richter Corporation building and logged into the network on the system.
Moving through the system, he accessed the logs of the video cameras. Richter's computer network had a gigabytes upon gigabytes of memory within the system, and used this to it's full capabilities, including the storage of video files from the video cameras for those with proper access. Tim downloaded the video and opened it up, accessing the time frames and various camera angles. He found a great shot of himself from behind the back and the five people he was talking to up front. He also managed to get video data of the actual regressing, and examined it to look for any previous changes.
Surprisingly, it was the woman in the red dress that he was talking to that seemed to experience the first changes.
"Zoom and enhance," said Tim, as the computer followed his command and got a crystal clear image of the woman's face. "Computer, send that upstairs for identification." Tim continued this process until he had each of the five people's faces sent for ID. In the meantime, he set the computer on a task to render the actual change within the woman's body to show what the age reducing was doing. Maybe some sort of pattern or specific change could be identified for further usage. Besides, Tim wanted to see this change again.
Within five minutes, the computer had finished the render, as Tim played it through. It showed the woman, recorded at about 5'1". The ruler stayed as a small label at the bottom of the screen read "Initiating Change". The woman's height started to decrease slightly as the model's breasts decreased. Her face took on a more childlike appearance as she continued to get smaller at an increased rate. Her hair shortened ever so slightly and Tim could see her fingernails get shorter as well. It almost seemed as the inorganic matter of the woman seemed to regress at a slower rate. She reached four feet in height as her chest became flat. The rate of regression continued further as she headed into the pre-teen years. Her private area became balder. The changes continued, past 5 years, as layers of baby fat started to come onto her body. Her face assumed that of child as the render finished it's sequence. Quite an interesting study of how this happened, thought Tim.
The ID's were still waiting, so Tim decided to run the render through a comparison of the video sent in by mail. He checked for transfers of height and maturity. As the computer processed the information, Tim had to wonder. Why would someone steal a device that was capable of this? And for what reason? To regress the world into babies? That certainly seemed possible. He was beginning to contemplate the siutation further when a small light beeped on the side of his desk. The lab's ID's were done.
Tim checked the network and accessed his uploads directory. One Webpage had been put into his directory from the labs, labeled "id.html". Tim accessed the file as it popped up on the Richter edition Netscape Navigator, equipped with all the site hacking utilities Tim would ever need for his investigations. This job had it's perks.
Each image had a name to it with what also looked like a short biography next to it. Tim browsed through...

Holds a strict policy for it's weapons not to be used for war. Tamara has great influence over her husband and heads the power management of the weapon in usage.

Height: 5'7" Age: 57
Albert Davis heads the Davis Age Foundation, focusing on rejuvination technologies for the human body. Davis's research team has begun work on perfecting the cryogenic and suspended animation technologies. In regards to time manipulation, it is unknown by our sources whether or not Davis had managed to actually find a way to manipulate it such as our research team has. Dr. Davis was one of the two people unaccounted for in the babies collected.

Attire: Brown Robes
Height: 5'4" Age: 45
Alison Lowe is wife to Robert Lowe, who's research into the health of the human body has lead to revolutionary changes in hospitals today. Robert pursues to elimnate cancer as he is concerned for his wife's addiction to cigarettes, and fears that she may have Lung Cancer one day. Alison is almost careless in her life as she smokes without regard despite the new studies showing how hazardous it is to her health. The infant body we analyzed earlier shows that any trace of nicotine or long-turn tar buildup in the lungs have been eliminated, which has us baffled.

Height: 6'0" Age: 29
Lucas is a new person to the industrial millionaire ranks. He achieved his riches through almost brilliant investments in the stock market and research facilities, and continues to gain wealth as a result of his wise predicitions. As he is new, Richter's corporate agents have been unable to determine what Lucas is researching, so he is considered a possibility in all this. Lucas was the second person unaccounted for in the babies collected.

Subject Name: Racheal Terry
Attire: Red Dress (See Below)
Height: 5'1" Age: 23
Racheal was invited by Lucas as a date for the evening. Racheal was an intern and seceretary for Lucas Enterprises from the start, and has obviously gained the respect of Lucas in spirit as well as in body. However, of special note was the shoe Honor Guard Daniels picked up from the hall. Hidden within the heel was a small device emitting a tracking signal that could have been used to target the reducing device. We're recording in your personal computer the evidence as well as the shoe type. Also of special note is the fact that Racheal showed signs of regressing about 1 minute before anyone else within the hall started to become younger.
This information is certainly interesting towards the investigation and definitly linked to the device. However, there still isn't enough evidence to know who really did it. Our labs are still analyzing through DNA tests who is who and any differences within the chemical makeup of the babies versus the medical records we have in our database.
Tim checked the tiny laptop computer and found out that he had the new information uploaded through the satellite uplink. The shoe, a specialty from Nine West. The only difference between this shoe, a 3" heeled red shoe, and any other shoe was the fact that it had a hollowed out chunky heel for hiding something like the device that the lab found. Tim would have to make a few house calls to get more information, but most importantly, it was imperative to find out where Moore and Davis had disappeared too.
Tim was about to leave when his computer beeped. He checked back, finding that the comparison morph that he had started earlier had been completed. Tim ran the movie through 2 times, then checked the data. Tim was taken aback by the fact that for every inch or body measurement that the baby gained, the adult version lost that much or percent. Could this data be the actual baby who was switched with Racheal? It was impossible to tell as this sort of thing could have happened with any of the babies.
Tim got up, checking his firearm to make sure it was secure and grabbing a few extra clips. It was time to visit Lucas Enterprises.
Story Addendum:
Honor Guard Firearm Tactical Data
The standard issue F-4 Stryker was designed by the research department at Roberts Inc. A deal between Hans Richter and Jacob Roberts lead to the transfer of the technology to Richter's department for an unnamed sum of money. Richter refined the design of the gun and made it a standard weapon for every member of the Honor Guard.
The F-4 Stryker is shaped after a 9-mm Beretta, except for the extra compartment on the front. The Stryker holds a capacity of 18 standard rounds within the handle of the gun. The reason that this weapon is special is because of that compartment on the front of the gun. Contained is a secondary ammo storage of explosive bullets. A simple button reroutes the chamber from the standard rounds to the explosive rounds, allowing for fast deployment of high-explosive weapons in times of need. Saftey systems have been insured so that the weapon will not accidently discharge or explode whilst in the hands of the user.
