The Original Blues Brothers movie was both hilariously funny, and very ground breaking for it's time. The two characters Jake and Elwood were "On a mission from God". They were getting their band back together. And in the process they broke about every law possible. All the time being stalked by a very pissed off Princess Leia. :)
They are now making a sequel to the original movie. They probably would have done so earlier, if John Belushi hadn't died. Alot of people have mixed feelings about the sequel. As with most sequels to cult hits, the sequel must be equal or greater to the original. This may be difficult to pull off without the antics of John Belushi.
