 Starred with Julia McKenzie in
the hit comedy Fresh Fields. They then teamed up together
to play the same characters in French Fields - the
characters having retired to France.
 Starred in another hit comedy
- May to December. It featured Rebecca Lacey (Carry On
Columbus) in the role of Hillary the dim witted secretary
and Ronnie Stevens (Carry On Cruising) playing Anton's
father-in-law.

appeared in an episode of Midsomer Murders in which Angela Thorne once again
played his wife. The episode also featured Dilys Laye. Anton and Dilys had
