Carry On Tit-bits

" My favourite Carry On - is 'Jack'!! So we disagree! I was asked to do 'Cleo' which followed 'Spying' but I had other things to go to. " - Bernard Cribbins - May 1996.

Other Noteworthy Performances

First and foremost he provided wonderful voices for all The Wombles.
He's appeared in many British film classics like Two Way Stretch and The Wrong Arm Of The Law with Peter Sellers, The Mouse On The Moon, The Girl On The Boat with Norman Wisdom, the Bond spoof Casino Royale and Daleks - Invasion Earth 2150 AD with Peter Cushing in the role of Doctor Who.
He was also in another great comedy film - Crooks In Cloisters. His co-stars included Carry Onners Barbara Windsor and Melvyn Hayes.
Played Mr Perks in the timeless classic The Railway Children.
Got to Number 9 in the charts with the single Hole In The Ground and Number 10 in the charts with Right Said Fred - both in 1962.
He played Mr Hutchinson in a classic episode of Fawlty Towers.
Has probably made more guest appearances on Jackanory than any other performer and is certainly the most popular and best loved Jackanory story teller ever!
