 I first
remember watching Don in Bulman when I was a kid.
 He went on to appear in
The Paradise Club with Leslie Grantham, a beginner's guide to cookery
television show with Michael Elphick, pictured at the top. If memory serves me
right Michael did most of the cooking while Don provided most of the
amusement!
He appeared in one memorable episode of The Detectives (the
comedy with Jasper Carrott and Robert Powell) - Don played a monk and
didn't say a single word throughout the whole show!
Don is also known
across the world (and in a galaxy far, far away) for his appearance in
Star Wars. Sadly Don is no longer with us, but thankfully he has left a
long list of film and television credits for us to enjoy.
Don
was married to fellow Carry On performer Shirley Stelfox, who is now playing
Edna Birch in Emmerdale.
