Carry On Tit-bits

"The one I like best was called 'Follow That Camel' with Phil Silvers, he was great to work with. I was the only one on the film to like him. The rest of the cast wanted Sid James, but the production company hoped to break into the U.S. market with Phil in the lead. In the end the cast realised what a great performer he was.
We both became good pals for years after, so I think that was the best of Carry On for me. It was a Carry On regardless of the name. I have to say I loved working on them, they were great fun." - Larry Taylor October 1999.

"I have to say everybody who worked on the Carry On series loved the whole set-up, it was a happy family affair. The pay was rather small for those days." - Larry Taylor September 2000.
