Will always be most fondly remembered as 'Gloria' in the classic sitcom of the 70s and 80s It Ain't Half Hot Mum.
Melvyn appeared in such films as Crooks In Cloisters with Barbara Windsor and Bernard Cribbins, Santa Clause the Movie, Summer Holiday, the Curse of Frankenstein, The Flesh and the Fiends, The Magnificent Seven Deadly Sins, The Zany Adventures of Robin Hood and The Young Ones.
Provided the voice of 'Skeleton' in the animated Kid's series Superted!
More recent television includes Shooting Stars, Gayle Tuesday - Tuesday's World, the Thin Blue Line and the last three episodes of drop the Dead Donkey.
Melvyn is a veteran Pantomime performer having appeared in Panto at least 18 times!
