Richard Wilson is always
going to be best remembered for that lovable old grouch 'Victor Meldrew'
in One Foot in the Grave. Who can forget the time he put his foot in a
hedgehog thinking it was his slipper??! Richard has also appeared in the
sitcoms Only When I Laugh, Duck Patrol and most recently the excellent
Life As We Know It with Stephanie Cole. Sadly Life As We Know It didn't
make it to a second series, which is a great shame as both Richard and Stephanie
were terrific. 2004 found Richard back on our
screens in the Sunday night 'cosy' drama Born And Bred. Tragically, and for
reasons best known to the BBC, the series was axed in 2005, leaving a lot of
storylines unresolved and a trail of angry fans - me included!!!
