Sid was wonderful in What A Carve Up with Kenny Connor, Shirley Eaton and Esma Cannon.
Appeared in the comedies Hancock's Half Hour, Taxi, Citizen James, George and the Dragon and Bless This House.
Sid also starred in the Ealing comedies The Titfield Thunderbolt and The Lavender Hill Mob. In fact it was his role in The Lavender Hill Mob that laed to Sid being cast in the radio show Hancock's Half Hour.
