You don't need to queue up in the Post Office
to find out how much it's going to cost to send that autograph request. Visit
the Royal Mail's site and print out the tariffs
for 1st and 2nd class postage.
Not forgetting Airmail letter rates for Europe and Zones 1 and 2!
Top tip! If you're sending anything weighing more
than about 100g abroad don't send it by Airmail letter rate! It's cheaper to
send it as an 'Airmail Small Packet'. So print out the small packet tariffs while
you're at it. You must remember to write 'small packet rate' on the envelope
under the stamps though!
If you want to be really lazy you can order your
first and second class stamps direct from the Royal Mail's site as well!
