A little bit of background on how this site was put together!

I first started building this site using Frontpage Express which came free with Internet Explorer. When I moved on to a more up-to-date version of IE, Frontpage Express was no longer available so I decided to buy Frontpage 2000 a much more powerful version of Frontpage Express. You don't need to know a scrap of HTML to build a website. Programs like Frontpage 2000 do it all for you!

To edit images for Carry On Signing I first began using a trial version of JASC's Paint Shop Pro 5. This proved to be so useful and easy to use that I decided to buy the full version of the updated Paint Shop Pro 6, which I still use today.

To get Carry On Signing onto the Internet I use WS_FTP which I downloaded from the tucows website. WS_FTP is usually included on the cover disc of 'Web Pages Made Easy' each month if you don't want to download it. I can't claim to know much about transferring files. All I know is that it's really easy to upload files using WS_FTP. It must be if I can do it!
