the AutoContent Wizard?
1) It guides you through a series of questions
about the type of presentation, the output options, the presentation style, and
the presentation options.

choices for creating a presentation, they are........
1) The AutoContent Wizard: guides the user through a series of
questions to make a presentation.
2) The Design Template, where the user picks a pre-defined
template for all the slides.
3) Blank Presentation, used if the user want to start a
presentation from scratch.
How can
slides be deleted?
1) Slides can be deleted by either choosing Edit, Delete Slide OR go to
Slide Sorter view, choose the slide and press the Delete key on the keyboard.
How is text
added to slides?
1) Text can be added to slides using the placeholders (reserved area on text)
on each slide.
2) Text can also be added to a blank presentation with no placeholders, by
creating and drawing a textbox (using the Drawing toolbar).
How is text
appearance changed within a presentation?
1)

alignment, spacing, case, and tabs
changed.
1) To change alignment (left, right, centered): click one of the
alignment buttons on the toolbar.
2) To change line spacing: Choose Format, Line Spacing.
2) To change the case of text: Choose Format, Change Case
3) To set tabs: Display the ruler (View, Ruler), then set a tab by
clicking the tab button at the left of the horizontal ruler.
How are
bullets added to slides?
1) Select the text or placeholder and click the bullets button on the toolbar
OR choose Format, Bullets and Numbering. (This is the same as in Word)
What is
a the Slide Master and how is it
accessed?
1) The slide master controls the formatting for all the slides in the
presentation.
2) You can use it to change such items as the font, size, color, style,
alignment, spacing, and background of all the slides in the presentation in
order to give them a consistent look.
3) How do I access it? Choose
View, Master, then Slide Mater.
What
are slide transitions?
1) Slide transitions determine how one slide is removed from the screen and
how the next one appears.
2) How do I do it? Choose
Slide Show, then Slide Transition. You may then pick any effects, add
automatic timing of slides, or a sound effect.
What
is animation and how is it used in
presentations?
1) To animate an object or text, you add a sound effect or special
visual. Animation effects offer a way to enhance your presentation and
increase audience interest.
2) How do I do it: Choose Slide Show, then Custom Animation. (Note:
In the Order and Timing tab, one can choose Order and Timing tab to
determine how animation will be displayed and the timing. The Effects
tab lets you animate text to enter the screen in various ways)
