TEAM SORTING
- Time limit: 60 seconds. There will be a 30-second warning
- One wrong numbered calf over the line results in DQ
- Cattle that have been herded across the line correctly, this includes any part of the calf, must stay over the line or
the team is DQ'd.
- Credit is given for calves retrieved correctly.
- Time will be called when the last calf is over the line or when 60 seconds is up.

TRAILER LOADING
- Time limt: 60 seconds with a 30-second warning
- Announcer will call out two numbered calves. Team can either load one or both calves. 2 calves loaded takes precedence
over 1 calf loaded.
- No trash may cross the foul line.
- Center gate of trailer must be latched.
- Back door must be latched.
- Selected calf(ves) must be in front of trailer and ONE horse loaded in the back; a mixture is not accepted.
- All team members must be on a horse or touching the rope in the designated area in order to stop time.
- Time will be called when every team member is in their proper place.
- If a rider dismounts for some reason, he/she must mount up or be touching the designated rope.

CUT-PEN-HOLD
- Time limit: 60 seconds with a 30-second warning.
- No trash is allowed over the foul line.
- Cut-and-pen calves in consecutive order. Ex: Announcer calls out #7. The team must cut that calf out, put it in pen #1,
and hold it with a horse/rider. Next, calf #8 needs to be cut, put in pen #2, and held with a horse/rider. Finally, calf #9
needs to be cut and cross the foul line. Time will be called when this calf crosses the line.
- The announcer will only call out the number of the FIRST calf.
- It's the team's responsibility to get the other two calves in correct numerical order.
- NO escapes once a calf(ves) is/are penned. An escaped calf = DQ
- Credit will be given for partially completing the event. Ex: team penned one calf only; team penned two calves; team completed
the event.
- A cut calf may cross back over the foul line and into the herd.
