Based on the 1940's comic strip of the same name "The Spirit" revolves around young Central city cop Denny Colt (Gabriel Macht) who was gunned down, yet returns from the dead not as himself but rather as The Spirit. The Spirit makes it his mission to fight the forces of evil in central city. However, The Octopus (Samuel L. Jackson) has other plans, he wants to wipe out Central City. Thus a pursuit ensues with The Spirit tracking his nemesis all around the city, while enjoying a variety of beautiful women who either want to love, seduce or kill him.
