The Site Today

This clearing in the Kyle Forest off the New Cumnock-Dalmellington Road
with the peak of Benbeoch in the background appears to be the likely site of
the Beoch Bronze Age Burial Cairn. There are certainly a number of large boulders and stone lying under the moss.
(Note the hollow depression in foreground.)
