Chapter 1

The road was dim..lightpoles barely lit the way for the passing cars. A silver one peirced through the dimness and leaves whirled after the trailed wind as the speed of the fast car awoke then from there peaceful rest near the roadside.

The young man in the car was silent. Driving occupied his mind and the conversation with his recent lover replayed itself time and time again. It wasn't just a conversation..a heart wrenching episode as well. The end of their nine month relationship was officially called out tonight.

Devestated and angry...the man dashed to his car to drive off his aggression. She called him back..knowing that him being this state of mind would be fatal if he drove. Still...the young man shook out his trance as his cell phone crushed his thoughts. He let it ring on and on until out of annoyance, he threw the phone out the car window.

"A park.." the man whispered to himself and turned his steering wheel swiftly to find a parking spot. Satisfied with a spot near the entrance....he opened his car door to let himself out.

Greeted by the cold air and chilly surroundings...the young fellow stalked to a near by swingset. He grinned as he spotted a yellow colored swing and hopped on it gayly. He lifted his feet slowly and pushed himself with a little force. The scene infront of him was dark...yet so alluring and safe at the very same moment. Never did fear cross his mind. He was home as far as he was concerened.

"You could catch a could catch a cold if you only have that on..." a voice whispered.

Startled and surprised, the man shot up from the swing and looked around frantically. There was no one. Everything seemed as normal as it was the first time he arrived. Carefully scanning his view for anything suspicious....the young man turned and jumped back a few feet at the sight standing infront of him.

"Wha..Wha..What are you doing here?" the man stuttered.

He looked the woman over....her pale skin seemed clear and healthy..showing no sign of aging or coarseness. Her flowing brown hair layed comfortably on her shoulders. The greyness of her oval eyes startled him but called out his name with a sweet intensity. Her long and curvy figure stood with command and sureness, yet had a classy and gentle approach.

He watched as her stern look evolve into a sweet and welcoming smile...

"I'm sorry to startle you...I just suggested that you wear something more appropriate for this weather." she stated and made her way onto a swing.

The young man looked down at his attire and agreed with her....he was not at all dressed for the cold climate. Brushing himself off and standing up..the man introduced himself to the stranger.

" I'm A- - " he started.

" Alexander James McLean.." she finished for him. " I know perfectly well who you are.." she said.

"My name is Salasia.....Salasia Lee" she introduced.

A.J stood there shocked..she knew who he was? Of course she does..he was a Backstreet Boy....almost every girl knew who he was. He finally shook away from his thoughts and smiled...

"Hi Salasia...that's a beautiful name.." he grinned.

She might have seemed strange and gothic..but she was nonetheless beautiful.

"Likewise...Alexander the Great was an excellent authority. He had command. " Salasia stated and admired this guy's appearance and style. His suaveness and flirtatious personality only intrigued her more.....he was by far sexy.

A.J looked at her suprised.. "You know a lot about history and things huh?" he asked while shyly taking a swing next to her. Salasia smiled...he knew nothing of her past or who she really was.

"More than you think..." she responded while getting up to leave.

A.J furried his eyebrows..trying to comprehend what she just told him and grabbed her arm quickly as he realized that she was leaving. Salasia turned around and looked at him expectantly..she really had to go before the others started feeding.

"You're leaving already?" A.J asked kinda disappointed. He was too curious about her just to let her leave. Salasia smiled...

"Yeah..I have to get going..my friends are waiting for me.." she tried to explain.

"You're friends are here with you?" A.J asked..obviously naive to the fact that she was a vampiress.

She nodded and walked farther off into the woods.

"I guess I'll see you around sometime.." A.J whispered. He meant to say it more to himself than any other person.

Before disappearing farther into the woods..Salasia turned around and grinned.." You will....a lot more than expected.."

When she returned to the cemetery..Salasia expected to be trampled for running off by herself. Instead she found her longtime friends just awaking and taking insight on their new home. She quietly walked towards Amilla, the oldest of the five friends.

Amilla's tall figure stretched. Her light chocolate complexion glimmered in the bare pale moonlight. The long and curly locks of hair flourished down to the middle of her back.

Sensing someone was approaching...Amilla turned swiftly ready to defend herself. Salasia laughed and held her hands up in surrender.

"Damn Milla, i was just going to suprise you.." she smiled. Amilla grinned at the nickname Salasia and the rest gave her and hugged her tightly.

"It is so good to be back..." Amilla whispered while releasing Salasia from her long and slim arms. She nodded in agreement and walked off to join the others.

"Salasia!!" Amilla yelled before she was entirely out of sight.  Salasia turned around to face her..

"Yeah?" she replied.

Amilla smiled mischeviously and said.."You knew he was a great feed didn't you?" she started.. "Tall....fit and toned. His blood would of burned deliciously in your throat." Amilla finished refering to A.J.

Salasia sighed.."Yea..yeah he was....but I don't think he would be appropriate to kill.."

Amilla nodded in agreement.."Yeah..people would of been suspicious for a great popstar to disappear like so.."

Salasia tried to comfort her serious friend by drapping an arm over her shoulder.."But there will always be people out there that will be much better feeds and not be missed too much..hehehe" Salasia giggled.

Amilla's eyes glimmered with excitement.....it was so good to be back.
