Body: Broad and Deep with a short Back either flat or slightly hollow between the shoulders, with saddle rising halfway between the hackle and the tail until it reaches the tail coverts. No horizontal line to be visible, but instead the back to be covered with hackle feathers at the shoulder going directly into the saddle feathers all in a curved appearance.

Full Breast, well forward and horizontal keel.

Wings medium size with lower line horizontal, well tucked under saddle feathers which should be of ample length.

Tail, medium length, rising from the line of the saddleand carried nearly upright, quill feathers well spread, coverts broad and abundant, well curved almost covering the quill feathers.

Neck: Long, covered with hackle feathers that reach well down the shoulders. A depression being apparent at the back between the head feathers and the upper hackle.

Beak: Short and strong

Eyes: Large and prominent with a triangular space between the front of   the eye and the eyelid.

Comb: Pea comb.

Face: Smooth and free of feathers or hair.

Ear lobes: Long, fine and pendulant, as compared with the wattles.

Wattles: Small, fine, free of feathers or hair and not falling lower tan earlobes. An almost absence of wattle to be preferred especially in females.
