Acts 2:42
42 And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.
The bible say they continued in fellowship, meaning the followers of Christ. Church members today are suppose to be followers
of Christ so why is it that so many only come to the morning service on Sunday and not on Sunday night or Wed. night. My view
is that there is something missing in their life. I use to do the same thing until I really found out what Christ had done
for me. Now I go every chance I get, the two or three hours of church is not near enough to show how thankful I am for what
Christ suffered for me. If I were in Chuch 12 hours a day it would not repay what was done for you and I.
I here al; sorts of excuses from people as to why they only come on Sunday morning, one is "I can only stand on hour
with that hipocrite" or "I have to stay home to get ready for work on Monday" and then there is "I had
company"
Well I can tell you these excuses will not be good enough on judgment day. God only wants the faithful and trusting in
his Kingdom. Let me tell you that if you stay home in order to stay away from a hipocrite, then when you are not there, there
is one less hipocrite in Church! There are a bunch of hipocrites at Wal-Mart but I'll bet you still go there to shop. And I
can tell you if you allow a hipocrite to keep you from God's house you may find yourself surrounded by them in Hell.
Another thing if it takes you more than a few hours to get things ready for the coming work week you need a new job. And
when you have company invite them to Church, I do, I will tell them you can either come to Church with me or wait here until
I return. I am going to worship God not to impress any man.
The Bible tells us to fellowship one with the other for two reason, 1 so we can lift each other up and 2 so we can pray
for one another. Some of the greatest blessing are being missed because you did not come to Church.
Jesus did not have to go to that cross for us God could have condemmed us forever, but he LOVED US and want something
better for us,Eternal life through Salvation. Do you have it?
