Show your Faith
You know I have a problem with people who are afraid to show their faith. They profess to be a Christian but you can
not tell it when they are not in Church. Jesus wants us to boldly show our faith. In today’s society so many Christian
are afraid to show there faith in public, it is as if they are ashamed of it. They never say a prayer of thanks before eating
in a restaurant, for fear of what other people think. They never speak about their beliefs in public; they will not speak
of the Bible because they do not want to stand out as different. Well I Am Different, I am a born again, blood bought man
of God, I belong to him and he is my Father in Heaven. I do give thanks and I do obey the will of God, I am not ashamed of
my belief. Jesus said this Mark 8:38 Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful
generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels. In
other words we must not be afraid to show that we belong to Christ.
The Scripture tells me that I must be different in this world in order to reach Heaven and be found innocent of sin.
The people of this world can not help you get to heaven; they can not give you Salvation. So why do you care what they think?
There are people all over this world being persecuted and killed in the name of the Lord, and Jesus told us this would happen,
John 15:20 “Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted
me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also”. Satan rules this world
and he knows what is going to happen when the Lord Jesus returns, he is going to take as many with him as possible because
he does not want to suffer alone.
In the book of Acts Stephen was will to die for Christ and what he believed, and as such he was stoned to death but
even as he was dieing he kept his faith and even showed a Christian life by asking God to forgive those that were killing
him. Is your testimony that strong; are you willing to die for Christ? A lot of people say they are but when it comes to dieing
a lot will turn their backs on Christ in order to have another minute here in this world.
Be different show a life that will live on after you depart this world, People will remember you and how you lived as
a Christian long after your death. But if you do not stand for Christ then you will soon be forgotten.
Life goes no even after death so why take chances have faith and show it.
